Yeah he has been here a while. I remember hearing he was on trial, but never heard anything after that, so either they've signed him on the quiet or he's still on trial.

The problem with him in his early days was always his attitude (allegedly). He always looked like he was gonna be a good player, but apparently his behaviour behind the scenes wasn't up to it, which is why he ended up bouncing between us, London, Halifax & (Rochdale was it?). I suspect the club, knowing we were short of wingers and that he would class as home grown, though it may be worth giving him a try. If it worked out, we get a cheap home grown decent winger. If it doesn't, we don't really lose anything.

Great work Duckman another step forward for BullBuilder. Would it be possible and not take too long to put the team list on before the game and caption the try scorers and updatethe score. This is yet another reason to join BullBuilder and help us to build a better Bulls.

Another thing I noticed watching that, as well as the obvious quality of Southernwood, is how wick young O'Brien is. You can definitely see why the coaching staff are big on him (they put him in the first team squad when he was only 16!).

For anyone who went to the forum, what was the name of the player that Paul Medley named specifically as being one to watch for the future? I think it was quite near the end of the evening.

I've forgotten his name, and was just wondering if it was any of the guys playing in this match.

That was John Bateman IIRC, who plays for the U18s and wasn't in this match (he was scoring a try for the U18s at Odsal on the same day).

Just a suggestion from a man full of wind and no action. How about one 'play of the game', a thirty second clip of the best move/tackle/ try. I think the 13 min vid is great for the committed fans but having a diddy one for those with short attention spans might be handy too.

That said, if it's an .rseache, sod them.

I thought the highlights were very good.

If I could just add a few suggestions. Other people have suggested a commentary track and that would be useful as for those of us not familiar with the u20's it would help to be able to know who we're watching.
The other thing is that, if a commentary is a bit too much additional work then perhaps having the players numbers listed instead of just the players names

The problems lie in that we don't know who the players are either usually (or at least not yet anyway). And the club apparently don't keep records of who was wearing what shirt number. So really, we're in the same situation as everyone else.

If we can find a way to get an accurate team list of who is what number though, I can assure you it will be included.
