The CC is all about winning, not effort. We just weren't good enough, which is worse than lacking effort IMO.

Also how can Silvercheat allow play to go on when there is an injured player in the play the ball area? It took Harrison to tell him to stop play on the next tackle and then he gave Warrington a penalty to boot.

Worrincy actually put some decent hits in, but if he's going to stan don the ten for drop outs he should know the rules.

Given how much we have to spend on players, and how we re disproportionately hit when only one or two key players are out, we came within a whisker of seriously overachieving today, IMO. I could not have asked for more, even if the negative brigade like you clearly could.

I hope supporters like you will be more accommodating towards whichever new coach we manage to get to take on this underfunded team, at this underfunded club with so many negative "supporters".

I don't think you can grumble with the performance from the 17 players out there for the Bulls today. We may lack a bit of quality in some areas of the side but you cannot fault their effort today. They played their hearts out today and for that reason alone they have my full respect.

I thought at 12 nil down we could be in for a bit of a pasting but we stuck to our gameplan and got ourselves back into the contest. I thought Menzies was exceptional and surely the new contract is a certainty? Yes he takes up a quota spot but he is more than worth it.. superb.

Mike made some good tackles today but not good enough NL 1 MATERIAL if ever there was one.

TBF to him/her, they are correct. ATM we as a team are not good quite good enough to be making serious challenges on either the cup or GF. We are too hit and miss IMHO and until we become consistently strong then im afraid we will fall short. IMO that's not through a lack of funds, we got and had lots of quality players over the past 4 years. Were not coached to that level though.

Echo most thoughts on here, heroic effort from the boys after giving themselves a mountain to climb but we're just lacking some umph. Langley will have made an impact going forward and BK would more than likley have given us a bit more penetration going through there line.

Especially echo FA, Home turn out was disgusting. Some fans should be ashamed at not turning up when we need all the support we can get.

Noticed Koppy was frustrated at being brought off, I think it's time he was offloaded personally and one of the twins or Crossley given a shot. They can't be any worse.

such a shame that after a titanic tussle so many want to concentrate on the ref. Having seen it a number of times I am unsure but assume the ref thinks it came of L'estrange before bouncing off Anderson. Morley was incredibly harshly penalised up the the end to balance it up. Tries were at a premium so there is no certainty either team would have capitalised on their additional possession.
Where Bradford did lose it, or made their task even more difficult, was Worrincey's 2 brain farts - one allowing Monaghan to run straight past him from PTB to put Anderson through & go for the ball when Briers' drop out didn't go 10m. I'm afraid Worrincey's brain is never going to match his body & he will always be a defensive liability. The other, as FA has said, is Platt out of position on the wing. Apart from that, I though he was easily your most incisive runner in the backs.

Warrington are allowed to mess around at the PTB - but we aren't. You obvioulsy can't penalise for time wasting anymore and forward passes are allowed. Mr Silverwood's ineptitude amazes me.

It was a bit embarrassing I have to agree. I bet we'd have had plenty more jumping on board if we had of pulled off a shock win and made the Semi-Finals.


Agreed, he doesn't make any impact and it's time somebody else was given a chance to impress.

I haven't seen the replay but I didn't think Silverwood was any worse than usual to be honest. We know the officials are generally of a poor standard and I don't think he made a big difference to the final score.

Perhaps but massive respect to Wire, they brought a superb amount for a CC match. Obviously it is easier to be a supporter when you're at the top but still credit where it is due I think.

Forward pass in a Warrington try, refusing to penalise Warrington most of the game, missing a Warrington knock on in their own 20 (it was nearly as clear as Sheriffe's!!).

Also, it's very sportsmanlike from the players to play on and try to make meters out of the situation when a young player gets a potentially season ending injury.

They deserve alot of credit for the amount of supporters brought, but if they didn't let thugs in it would have been reduced significantly.

The Refs decisions were probably evened out for both teams over the 80 mins. Still think Langers and BK would have made the difference. Well done Wire, just that bit better on the day.....
