Yes Hood's comment about having Salary Cap space was surprising in that most clubs had by that time filled all of their's. To retain a portion of salary cap at the start of the season is unusual. Few players are available after the start of the season for the Bulls to fulfil the salary cap.

We need a strike player. It's were we are weakest. All the best clubs have at least one player they can count on to give them double figures in terms of tries scored in a season. We haven't. Now, what ever happened to that union fella we had on trial?

If there's no one in league who will fit with what we need then surely we should be looking to union. Wing is virtually the same position in both codes, there's also the fact that a union winger will also have a kicking game (to some extent) which would give us further options in attack
