And part of me agree's, but i can see why the club would be tempted by taking him back on. He would certainly shift a few season tickets and bring back a character to the club. His legendary status could possibly be tarnished if he came back half the player though. I'd rather take back Les than sign Walker...

Well you're wrong. He's got a good attitude to training, and playing and who can blame the lad if he's brassed off at being treated like a monkey?

He'd be smashing Worrincy's stats for missed tackles too by the looks of it.

That's my point. Despite being as good an attacker as Worrincy he's actually a worse defender.

Neither have sufficient quality IMO.

But when you put yourself in a position to make more tackles per game than another player, then it's a good chance that youre going to miss more tackles than them in the long run. That doesn't make them a worse defender than the other player, in fact, just by getting to more tackles, I'd say it makes you a better defender, especially when you can make direct comparisons between the two because they play the same position.

So no, Cook is not a worse defender than Worrincy, he actually gets through more defence than Mike making him a better defender, despite having far less game time.

Not me, but I think he's a good player with potential to be a star under the right coach.
