But a tight game doesn't just drop out of the sky, does it? Bulls weren't good enough to force a tight game against Wgan and Wire and they got slaughtered on here for that failing. But they have made a game of every one of their thirteen other fixtures.

That we can't be as rubbish as people make out to actually get the points on the scoreboard against these teams that are apparantly so much better than us.

It would have been better if you had taken that post in conjuction with the other posts on the thread about how we had played better IMO we hadn't.

Back to results over performance this is and always would be the most important. I'm happy with todays poor display because we won it's much better than a good display and not winning.

I don't think many people are saying these teams are so much better than us, that's why people are hacked off that we are running 12th in the table and are trying to be told that simply making the top 8 will equate to a good season.

Rugby's a simple game the team that scores the most points wins and that's what people remember the winners nothow many points the loosers scored.

It doesn't matter what you/we lose by, if you/we are not good enough to win then you/we lose. It's as simple as that and the margain of defeat is not relevent one tiny bit.

I cant see you making the play offs IMO cant see you winning the next 3 and cas away isnt easy especially on the back of 3 defeats

After beating a poor out of form Wakefield side who IMO will be luck to win another four games this season here comes af again with his OTT optimism.





Of course nothing is unwinnable in this competition with the salary cap but the fact is that we can only reasonably expect to win these games, some at a push:

Cas home
Celtic away
Quins home
Catalans home
Salford home

That ain't gonna be enough to make the play-offs IMO as the likes of Warrington Wigan and Catalans will push in ahead of us with Wakey and Hull popping out above us.

I'm Just saying it like it is unlike af with all this 'if we won all our close games we would be champions 6 seasons running' rubbish. What gives us the right to win games just cos they are close??! We lost because we aren't good enough - the FACT that it is becoming a TREND shows that these losses are not just flash in the pans - like the recent form of Cas who cant close out close games - they don't have the mentality in the team despite playing well in patches. I don't buy this Bulls are unlucky in close games rubbish - it is becoming such a trend that you would have thought if it was luck then the TREND would even out as the coach and players strive to address it. As this ain't happening we must conclude that the league table doesn't lie.

Macca said the same last year highlighting that they were working on it but actually it has just got worse which just shows he is not up to it. I got carried away after the Saints win but actually I fear it was a flash in the pan as they were out of sorts.

not a chance of you making the play off's!! no doubt about it bradford desereved to win but you were still very poor, 5 missed goals by wakey made the result and performance look better than it really was.

i agree with this. i think most teams will win about 50% of their remaining games.

I cant see us picking up more than 12 points. Expect the 2nd half to follow a similar pattern to the first ie one or two unexpected wins, one or two unexpected defeats and a few close games going either way. We're just too erratic to put together a winning run.

I can see a couple of teams such as Wakey & Cas dropping out of the Top 8 but think that Hull & Warry are more likely than us to take their places.

Unfortunately I don't foresee any defeat as unexpected this season.
