| If we lose this one we can forget the season. This last week or two our standard has been diabolical, and like everyone else I keep thinking it can't get any worse, but it does.

| Bradford squad:
Cook, Langley, Sheriffe, Burgess, Sykes, Scruton, Menzies, Newton, Whitehead, Rinaldi, Halley, Nero, Lynch, Kopczak, Jeffries, Tadulala, Worrincy, Platt, Deacon.
So the usual team then...

| Potential banana skin for us. If we lose the only consequence will be more emarrassment. I can't call it we are too inconsistant, hopefully I'll still have a hangover from Saturday night......

if he doesnt drop deacon then we'll lose - simple as.
we looked much better with sykes/jeffries and much worse with deacon/jeffries. shift menzies to where he looked much more effective and use jeffries and sykes varied kicking game which worked so well against leeds and saints.

[url=http://www.bradfordbulls.co.uk/game/34/Bradford%20Bulls%20vs%20Wakefield%20WildcatsThat's right. We could never possibly win a game against Wakefield with Deacon at scrum half.[/url

I have a theory developing that Deacon, along with Noble, Macca, Waite, Smith, Elliott, anyone else who has ever picked him, must belong to a secretive masonic, temple knights, brotherhood, fraternity, rotary, round table.

| Well [url=http://www.sportinglife.com/rugbyleague/news/story_get.cgi?STORY_NAME=rleague/09/06/06/RUGBYL_Super_Nightlead.htmlthis[/url is Macca's latest on the prognosis for the second half of the season.
In particular:
Quote ="Macca"It's the second half of the season for us. We are 13 games in with 14 left and we intend to play very well and pick up lots of points in this period.
We have set ourselves some targets and some goals and, whilst it's a clean slate for the players, the rest of the season starts now.
Believe me, it's going to happen. We have to find ways to win and, with the added competition we have got, it gives us the opportunity to change things if we are not happy with them and that's how it should be.'"
(my emphasis)
If we win tomorrow...well maybe the season does indeed start here.
If we lose...I dread to think how great the torrent of vitriol from the fans will be, because he'll have made a complete fool of himself. Other than those who want Macca to fail just so they can be seen to have been proved right or for whatever other agendas they are pursuing, I presume all genuine fans are praying that he IS proved right? I sure am.
When I see how heavily Crusaders have been beaten since they beat us though (and again today), I have to admit to more hope than expectation. But then again, we've just seen Cats beat the Whinos which shows just how much closer this competition is than any that went before.

| We need to win tomorrow now more than ever. After today's results, we are in danger of having no chance of making the eight.
Sorry if that stating the bleeding obvious!

| Right - crystal-ball gazing time: IF we win tomorrow and IF we win our game in hand (the latter especially is a big ask) THEN, all other things being equal, we would be 11th and one point behind the next four teams.
IF we were to win one more game than all of that block (again, all other things being equal) THEN we would be 7th. Big ask though given that the Wire and the Pies are in that block. But its not totally impossible at all.
However, if we don't win tomorrow, then for once it's hard to disagree with Millwart's assessment:
Quote ="Millwart, on Sporting Life,"...but this is their last chance. The key is the pack which could outmuscle the Wildcats' six. If the Bulls can't rise to the occasion in this one, we have to put a line through them for the rest of the season.'"

I've had similar thoughts, I've been away in the sun and on my return I'm all positive about life at the mo, including the Bulls. We have lost the same amount of games as the team currently occupying 8th and there is half the season to go.
We can make the playoffs and then who knows (ok, most of us can make an educated guess what would happen then.... but Im ignoring common sence for this so tough)
If we win tomorrow it could be a turning point to our season. Im so confident I've taken FA's approach and backed us at the bookies to win with my remaining holiday cash.
=whiteAND i SHALL BLAME HIM FOR HEXING US IF WE LOSE
Im not going to moan about deacon, the crowd, poor tactics, poor subs etc etc..no, I'm going to back my team, hopefully enjoy a good game of rugby, chat about which seat I want in our new multi million pound stadium that will usher in a new era of success, and celebrate 2 points with much beer and profit from the bookies. COME ON!
[size=75...of course there is a small chance all this positive feeling is just sunstroke and 80min at a p!ssing wet Odsal seeing us throw it away against wakey might well cure me....but we'll see.[/size

| I'm still confident we can make the play-offs, we've had our fair share of under-performance and bad luck, now it's others turn. We need to totally kick out all of the nonsense: No silly penalties, no knock ons when we are near either the opposition line or our own line and we need to make sure that our kicking stays fresh.
