Agree with regars to the current team but Nobby's lack of priority meant we had to import the vast majority of our players. With the budget we have available we had to shop at Aldi not Harrods.

He may have done. But why are we paying a full cap for our squad and so are Leeds and Saints. You may argue that you'd rather have your own squad than Saints but you sure as h3ll wouldn't choose ours over either of them. Maybe we haggle like the guy buying the gourd in Life of Brian.

We have the full cap available, but we havent spent to the full cap..we had funds for bird,who wouldnt have been cheap, and didnt get him.

my biggest concern is the players we would want to keep and are in demand, will look at the current situation and wonder if there going to win honours where they are?

Why stay at the club, whilst we are losing, looking like we won't get in the play-offs, not winning and generally playing gash. Some of the guys with international hopes may think they have a better chance at a "higher profile" club.

The other issue i guess is recruitment for next year. If this is the team that Steve built, do we really want him making decisions on the players for next year?

Matt Lucas would make a top class impact prop like Paleasiina and his PVC shorts and shirt would make hime difficult to tackle especially when wet. We would also have the kudos of signing the only gay in the super league. Tapping into the pink pound would be the financial making of the club.

David Walliams has proved by completing his cross channel swim that he has the required stamina and mental strength to play in the back row.

Well I think the worst thing that can happen is a mass clear out. During our period of success it was a case of a 2 or 3 player turn around per season. Lots of new faces can disrupt the harmony of the team and leave us no better off than we are.

As I've said, the team has proved it CAN get the job done. The problem seems to be one of motivation ie the team are up for games against Leeds & Saints but don't seem to bother against everyone else and yet the coach seems to lack ideas on how to combat this and even admits he has no idea how to solve it. Therefore the coach requires either replacing or having someone brought in with more experience to oversee him.
