What's all this cobblers about being sued for posting You Tube links anyway? Where's the steely backbone of the working class, from whence the game originated, and who exactly, in this imagined scenario that so offends the AUP, is going to sue who? I haven't noticed Sky launch a wave of litigation against You Tube where the so-called infringement was posted, nor would they, it would be patently ridiculous, so the idea that posting a link to such material would invoke a law suit is evidently a nonsense. What would be the point, it would cost more than could be recouped in compensation, it could be imaginatively defended (see McLibel) and would bring a wave of bad publicity and righteous ire upon those instigating such action. Hence it aint going to happen.

How sad is it that we cower, like little lambs, in the face of some imagined threat, bleating about others' naughtiness, whilst removing an individual's freedom of speech, a far more serious and odious crime than infringing copyright could ever be.

You could always set up and run your own boards, where all such posts were permitted by you, in a true devil-may-care, [ilaissez faire[/i spirit. As for MBBB? When he made the posts in question, he even started by saying something on the lines of "this will get me banned but who cares" on his first post and then the second one inflamed it more. He knew what he was doing and deliberately provoked so I doubt the (temporary) ban was too much of a surprise TBH.
