Because it seems to be just to much of a coincidence. McNamara is under a huge amount of pressure an stories like this keep popping up. It's the same ploy you see in most other sports it's trying to deflect the attention away from the problem.

I can understand your point and I am not naive enough to think there is nothing wrong at all, but surely we all need to try and be a little more positive at times like this and this story gives an element of that. Let's take it at face value and hope the is a large proportion of truth in it.

Get he signed up for next year. The guy is pure class, just watching the replay of last night. He tackled his heart out and raced from the other side of the pitch to deny Mary the try.

Watching him now and taking into consideration he is 35 it makes you wonder what it must have been like 10-15 years ago being able to watch him week in, week out.

The guy has class and even at 35 is probably our best player. He should get into the dream team at the end of the year if he keeps up this form, but will probably miss out as he's not playing one fixed position.

Remember it well. I'd just jumped out of my seat thinking we were about to score and this Aussie back rower with a stupid helmet has the audacity to catch and then tackle him!

It was a shame that the commentators didn't spot his "Gidley" style flick pass to Sheriffe with about 5mins to go. Menzies just making the point that there are more than 1 superb Aussie centres in SL!

Menzies was unbelievable on Friday night, as he has been for most of the season. You have to consider as well how quickly he's slotted into Super League rugby, and I imagine we didn't bring him over to play 80 minutes every week, but he's had to do this because of injuries!

Very pleasing to hear his recent comments in the media about wanting to stay. Go Beaver!
