Relegation might have forced his hand somewhat.

Then, pray, why did he do so.
Someone twisted his arm? I think not.

| Local Cas lad, cas fan, still lives in Cas, probably only left as they were relegated, out of contract end of the year, one of the top three props in the league (and he and his agent know it) we're playing poop, Cas are playing exciting rugby and making great strides forward, Cas have a new ground immenent and are defo going to be in the playoffs and are looking good for the next few years....
....and anyone would be surprised to see him in a Cas shirt next year??
...shocking.
Lynch is a great Bradford player who has improved whilst here and never given anything less than 100%. Im sure we want to keep him and I'm sure we're trying to tie him down to a new deal. But going back to Cas will be a huge draw IMO, more so than Leeds and Wigan. And if he does go he'll go with my best wishes for being a great player, hopefully he stays but it wont surprise or upset me if he doesnt. One position we might stand a decent chance of covering/recruiting for next year would be prop, we'll miss Lynch but we'll get over it.
All still rumour at this stage mind.

I never thought scruton would replace Joe, he was and still should be a good signing as a rotation prop, but impact prop in the Joe mode that we needed and still need he aint. He seems to be suffering from the malise within the squad and I suspect we'll see better from him when the team play better but he might not be one to lead that improvement.

Nah, you can't ever replace a player like Big Joe, they're one offs, you just have to move on and do something else, and hope one day you get lucky like that again.

No, he still could have stayed if he was that loyal to them.

| I have to say that I heard this a couple of weeks ago from someone who is usually pretty spot on. I guess we will see soon enough but I am inclined to believe the OP.
