| So did we play well then? Cos from the result it sounds like we just scraped a win against a Catalans side that aren't performing that well this season either.
Can we go into next weeks game at Cas being confident of an improved performance or will it be back to business as usual and an embarrassing defeat.
Still a good result tonight though.

Yes, it certainly was a memorable experience. Reading it back was enjoyable too, now knowing the score of course

We're through the worst of it, clearly. In fact, the trend points towards a 160 to minus 30 win at Old Trafford.

| The most important matter to take from all this, isn't trends, or even the performance.
First win on the board is massive, we now need to ensure we can keep some momentum in the camp, a problem which has plagued us over the last few years.
Pleasing to see Dave Halley get in for that winning try, and the celebrations from that try I saw on SSN justifies the spirit in the camp, and the will to win.

| I watched the highlights of the game on the Super League show a little while ago. From what i saw, Ben Jefferies played well again (following on from last week). So credit where credit is due.
Sheriffe showed some speed to finish off his try as well. Defence again was worrying.
What did everyone else make of the performance?

Quote Shell-shocked Catalans boss Kevin Walters said the “fate of the gods” conspired to see his side miss out against Bradford.
He got that wrong – Morrison, Platt, Sykes, Jeffries and Deacon are just mere mortals.'"
Quote Jeffries’ perfectly-weighted chip landed in the arms of Menzies for a simple walk-in... only for ... Jeffries to turn on the after-burners and scramble across to just nudge the winger into the corner flag before grounding... Ben Jeffries’ impromptu brilliance... the Aussie did not go for goal. Instead he attacked the line and silkily broke through before calmly finding Halley tip-toeing over to send the Bulls players and fans alike delirious.'"
Quote Full back Michael Platt had already held up opposite number Clint Greenshields with one brilliant effort that did not need any confirmation from the skies.'"
Quote Platt dropped a Bosc bomb to hand Bird an easy score'"
Quote Halley, who had come on at full back, had already seen one kick squirm clear after being hammered by thunderous French prop David Ferriol. It was amazing he had regathered his wits in time to finish that try in the final seconds.
But he did not get anywhere close to Bosc’s next bomb and, soon after, Jean-Philippe Baile was bundling over from dummy half, taking Halley with him.'"
