Firstly, as long as clubs like Leeds, Wigan and Saints have money to throw away I do know that you won't have your time. Secondly, I saw quite a few Hudds' fans leaving early even though you were winning! Seems that they were more bothered about getting out of the car park than seeing their team round off a solid win against a side they havent beaten in a league away match in 40 years! Also, I for one am also glad that the "top four" will no longer roost and I am glad that it is starting to look more like the NRL in some respects because every year it's getting harder to predict where each club will finish. Oh, and, btw us Bradford fans are already used to losing by now, we don't need to get used to it.

Just for the record, since at least one poster appears not to realise there was RL before 1995, but Huddersfield had a time at the top, and were once the very best, until SL came along they were the only team to rival Wigan in terms of success, but every thing is cyclical, Hudds dropped, just as Wigan did and just as Bradford are, perhaps we are on our way back up to the top, perhaps we are going to imitate Warrington, but the simple fact is, Bradford arent there any more, and you were beaten by the better side last night, the more patient side that defended its heart out and when it got a chance, took it with both hands (lessons learned from last week)

I totally agree with that bit (unfortunately), and I do know of Huddersfield's past successes, but all I am saying is that whilst the likes of Leeds, Saints, Wigan etc. have the money then clubs like our 2 aren't going to cut it anymore.

Been in Morrison' in Wakey this morning. Apparently all the grapes have been recalled to head office because they are too sour. A statement from the company says all is not lost we have given them to the Bulls' fans.

At the start of SL, Bradford hit the ground running, they adapated fastest and reaped massive rewards in terms of crowds and results, but now the nature of the beast has changed and Bradford (and I suspect Saints) arent changing with it fast enough

Again, I have to agree with you. In terms of unpredictability SL is becoming more like the NRL, tbh I couldn't say now who will finish top It cuold be you, HKR, Leeds Saints or anyone! Sl is becoming more competitive and therefore more fun to watch. As a supporter of a club that is on the downturn -supposedly- it may not be as good as it is for you, but if super league is becoming more varied and unpredictable that can only be positive!

Yes, after 15 years of the most succesful period in the clubs history we now have sour grapes because Huddersfield finally managed to beat us in the league whilst playing at home.

Of course that is very true to what Bulls fans are feeling.

I think everyone appreciates that SL is improving and results will inevitably be closer, however it is the quality of rugby that we're playing that worries me. If we had shown some improvement and lost it would be easier to accept. But unfortunately at the moment it feels like we're back in 2008. I don't expect or demand an immediate change of coach, but we need to start seeing some drastic improvement. By May/June we need to be deciding who will be coaching the side and what positions need strengthening.

I agree whole heartedly. Alternatively I could accept some of the defeats if we were blooding some youngsters in preparation for the next couple of seasons, I could also accept it if the team and particularly the backs were selected to their strengths.

I know, that's the reason I don't post much anymore.



I think everyone has a right to say what they want to say and they do on these forums but at the end of the day you don't have to read it. I'm a Bulls fan, pure and simple, we had a long period of success and I loved it every bit as much as everyone else did but....

If you follow any of the top sides of the last 10 years you have to take the rough with the smooth these days. I'll have a moan and groan as much as anyone but as you said Super League has changed this last couple of years.

All teams are so competetive and as you change players from the old super stars to new ones just coming through things are going to be different. It does make it a great game to watch, we can't go into any game presuming we are going to win like we could at one time.

The next few years will see the end of the current crop of super stars for other teams as well, hopefully we will have a great current squad and be on the rise again. Who knows?

I haven't written off this season yet though.

I think this is the view of the fans that will turn up to support the team through thick and thin. We have had a number of fantastic years in the recent past which was great fun to be a part of. Like Gill I am not writing off the season because we have dropped 3 out of a possible four points.
