For the Hull FC cameras to pick that up I must have really been sounding enthused by that bit of play.

TBF I think the majority of Bulls fans would take getting 8th and a play off spot. It's an improvement on previous years.

But as I said yesterday, don't read too much into trials. Obviously it's always disappointing to see your team lose like that as a fan of a club but the Bulls will be better come next week. They are down a few forwards too and Elima and Kopczak will add a hell of a lot to the team when they come back. It will help them when they have a set half back partnership in training for a full week also. All the changing they have done in preseason won't have helped things from a cohesive POV.

I had me earphones in so could hear quite a bit. The camera was only about 6ft away from us to be fair and that piece of skill did make me forget how cold it was for a few seconds

Yeah, i like Elima a lot. He was immense when he played for us a few years back, I can see how he would be missed.

I never realised how good he was until I started watching him in more detail last season. He gets through a lot of work both defensively and in attack and is one hell of a footballer. Whenever I saw the Bulls last year he always came out as one of the top performers and never seemed to give less than 100%, even in sometimes badly beaten teams.

It was insanely cold at the KC, my feet went numb at one point but i enjoyed the game in general! Was a horrible result but the result wasnt important in my opinion. Crookes try was fantastic didnt realise how quick he was and Dono got some good break aways but he was just unlucky.

I dont how which bit was worse though seeing langers stretchered off or seeing sammuts miskick when breaking away...

Interesting. Can't say I've heard that rule before. How did we manage to give sammut a squad number undeceived when he wasn't registered til last week?

2 or 3 years ago he was the best backrower in SL.

Hopefully Bradford can use this game to really focus for the Catalan game as Hull really showed some up the flaws in the Bradford defence, which I'm sure they'll be working extra hard to put right this week. As people have said it was only a friendly and with some of your big gun's coming back their looks enough quality on paper to challenge for an top eight spot if Potter can get them all singing off of the same sheet.

If you're talking about the Seymour kick he doesn't enter the frame for seconds. Where is he?
For the first try he runs past the ball, past his own winger and ends up by the whitewash. Then he drops it, and for the next he should knock it dead.
