Thanks... I find that an odd one as there is a strong possibility that could be a super league side at home to a championship side. So not only is there a huge salary cap difference, there could be home advantage as well! I think a neutral ground would be best call for all concerned. Anyone agree or am I being picky??

Bulls were playing Leigh at home in the play off game. I couldn't get there till half time for some reason, I heard Leigh took an early 6 point lead and when I got there at half time the Bulls were winning 30-14

Looking back at how our players were allowed to walk away as free agents when we got relegated does this scenario have any strength in it:
Salford players are so pi**ed off with the club and want out that the best way to get a free transfer would be to lose a few games and get relegated meaning all contracts are torn up. Their best players would walk into other SL clubs so there is little gamble in not trying your best over these 7 games. If you were Fages, Chase, Dobson etc. would this cross your mind?
If I were a Salford fan it would cross my mind if I am right about contracts and relegation.

Far from sure any player would ever deliberately lose a game but being pigged off might well affect the way they play the game.

Far as I know, contracts in SL are specifically for playing in SL, so would be voided if the club lost that status. When you think that the championship cap is around half the SL cap, it would be impossible to keep all their players anyway.

Well, you need only consider all the madcap religions around the world to realise what people are apparently prepared to believe. In fact, I usually start every season believing we're in with a real chance of the double....but always change my mind when all the Fax/ Leigh/ Saints/ Leeds fans tell me I'm wrong!
