Hey, the rule is even in Football Manager. If you appeal against bans too often when they were correct, you as the manager end up getting a match ban!
And the example of Rio Ferdinand is spot on, he did get an extra game added on. Although that was partly because, by appealing, it left him available for a League Cup tie (I think it may have even been the final), as the appeal was set for the week after, and the ban couldn't start until the appeal had been heard. I think the extra ban was kind of a "we know you've only appealed so you could play in the final, so miss an extra game you cheeky sod".'"
What if you are only appealing against the severity of the ban? |

You're putting words into my mouth there I feel. I may have used Webb as an example, but I'd want to see the rule brought in for the whole sport. The disciplinary panel at the RFL, however, are not beyond handing out bans and then reversing them for no discernibly good reason |

the rfl are just against leeds after 3 titles in a row they want some1 else to win SL so it doesnt get boring 4 the neutral fans he should never have got a two game ban 4 a high tackle you see them every game , and a catalans player got 1 match for running in and throwing a punch well surely thts more dangerous........ wewill still beat the bulls without webby anyway expect donald to b the shock call up for the wing hes fit and ready to go
