Agreed. They'll be some howls of discontent as some think going through pain doesn't involve players leaving. The players may end up even coming back (how many players did Wakey sell only for them to come back a year later)

Sorry to see the players go but it was no secret that players would be going. Sort of hoped we night have held onto Minchella as he was obviously a Bulls fan and player. Can't begrudge them securing SL deals though especially in the mess we are in.

That's the best of that academy year gone. What's the next year got? Maybe we can keep them? Shackleton gets picked for England squads I think. Vytas, Ebon Scurr, Gallagher will all have to step up I think.

Have to say I agree, when the current England team is made up of half Bradford academy products, the nrl semi final had 5 Bradford lads in it and yet for every player we produce and all the building we do, it all gets stripped away and sold off every time with hull kr and giants often the short term benefactors

Ah, putting together a handy shopping list for KR/Hudds for the year after next, when despite acting within our means we have another administration event and get to sell off all our young jewels again.

Leigh and Fev were arguably in worse positions than us this time last year. It's going to be a rough few weeks but I think we just have to sit tight and see what state we're in come season kick-off.
