We've had Silverwood at home on 13 occasions, and won them all.

In away games, we've won 3, drawn 1 and lost 9. All 4 Saints "aways" he has reffed we have lost.

Silverwood has reffed St Helens 23 times at home.. They have won 22 of these.
Of 19 games away from KR, the record is W 12 - D 1 - L 6

Saints have never won at Odsal with Silverwood reffing. This includes Mon 12 Apr 2004 when the score was Bradford 54-8 St Helens.

Our record in SL at KR is Won 7 Lost 13. The only refs who have officiated Bradford wins are Russell Smith, Cummings, Presley, Bob Connolly, Klein and Kirkpatrick.

The fact is having Silverwood in the last 11 games and winning ONLY TWO is not on.

Last year he gave St Helens 19 penalties to our 5.

At Hull KR he gave Hull KR 21 penalties to our 7.

Silverwood also officiated the Bradford 20 St Helens 18 game at Odsal in 2006.

He also officiated the St Helens 33 Bradford 24 clash at Knowsley Road in 2006 again giving St Helens a 12-6 penalty count.

The only time that I have left St Helens with a smile on my face was when we beat St Helens in 1997 under Cummings 38-20 (even then he gave St Helens a penalty try to try and get them back into the match) and 2000 when we won 32-10 under Presley (Robbie Paul with a super try on 58 minutes).

Dont worry Mick Terry Monster Newton will bash all the Saints players legally and Bulls will win unopposed - hopefully Macca will send the message out for the players to impose themselves phisically and we will win a bash-a-thon

Now, now don't be encouraging blaming ref's. Look where it got Justin Morgan. Suppose those penalty counts are a bit odd, but there's nothing we can do. Get on with it, hopefully Silverwood will be left crying when his favourite SL club lose.

The magnitude of the defeat may well be influenced by the number of offences committed but I doubt the tick in the Win/Draw/Loss column will be.

IIRC Saints went through a whole game (v Quins?) without conceding a penalty. The ref must have been bent that day.

Also, the one occasion we have lost this season saw HKR go through the entire second half against us without conceding a penalty and they still only just hung on.

We never concede penalties. Not ever. The ref just makes them up.
