| Fantastic news to hear we should be sorted financially for a good while. Massive commitment by OK to pump that sort of money into the club. Could you see Peter Hood doing that?
Up to the players to repay that commitment on Sunday.

Yep - and the fans could do their bit by taking up the invitation to "bring their buddies" to the Cats game. An extra 2k on the average gate works out at about an extra £500k a season which would cover the wages of several quality players

Oh, absolutely, but I fear there are quite a few who will wipe it from their consciousness. If it even registers there at all. Here's one example:
Quote ="mystic eddie"Well. What a surprise. I wonder what all the OK lovers have to say about this then.
This guy is a complete bombscare. We are NOT in safe hands whatsoever.
Sadly however, the next time will probably be curtains for the club.'"
"Loving" him is not the issue, though your post presumably means you are just an irrational "OK lover", devoid of the deep insight of those who "really know the truth", which the rest of us presumably can't see, as we're not clever enough.
I figure there is nothing, at all, he could ever do to stop his entrenched and myopic detractors from abusing him. Would be nice if they could at least give the man a break, but there seems to be 100% silence so far. Are any of them man enough to offer an apology?

If you're referring to Omar, from what I've seen and heard I'm almost adamant he drinks (like anyone else).
If you're referring to Duckman, then I don't know...!

| Fantastic news and hopefully this will sort the lads heads out and get them fully focused on wrestling 2 points from Wakey this weekend.
Cant help but think if this was the plan all along couldn't it have been done better or even quieter, more professionally is probably the right word. The wages were probably always going to be late if the money was tied up but couldn't something had been said privately to the players so they knew in advance.... Then again it might not have been enough to stop some of them jumping on tw*tter and venting so you never know! The more this played out, the more I started to think the blame for this event was more 50-50 between Omar and the club and a select few lads who made it worse with their reactions...
Eitherway glad to see it resolved.

I think the trouble was that certain players ran straight off to social media and starting moaning about the situation. Think the club needs to, not so much gag it's players, but request that internal club affairs are not discussed in such forums. You know, like EVERY OTHER COMPANY DOES.

| The lady in ticket office yesterday was very positive about it all, said it was all out of proportion and were it not for certain players and twitter, it would never have been an issue.
Read into that what you will.

| To be honest I'm a little surprised at something.
I found this article from July 2012 which mentions the wage bill to be around £200,000 per month...
[urlhttp://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/9843153.Extra_time_plea_in_fight_to_save_Bradford_Bulls/?action=complain&cid=10607347[/url
... and then the article from Wednesday mentions the wage bill this time around to be £200,000...
[urlhttp://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/sport/sportbulls/10581170.RFL_join_Khan_in_insisting_Bradford_Bulls_are_not_back_on_the_brink/[/url
I would've hoped with all the upheaval, changes and new approach that the wage bill would have been reduced.
Anyway, I was just surprised to read that and hopefully it isn't actually a problem.
(Of course this number could lie completely at the door of the T&A.)

July last year would have been just after everybodies favourite administrator had come in and sacked the back office and coaching staff - so the £200k a month quoted for wages could have been just the squad, whereas the current figure would be the playing squad and the coaching staff and back office. Would guess if you add in rents, marketing and all the other costs it must take at least £300k or more a month to keep the show on the road so you can see what a handicap the cut in the Sky money is.

| Perhaps we should remember that we didn't have a home match for 7 weeks. The matches we had were at the beginning of the season - poor weather - poor crowds, and in the holiday period when people are away. During this time the Staff, Players, Backroom Staff & Stadium work still has to be paid for. THE FIXTURE LIST NEEDS SORTING OUT FOR NEXT SEASON - WE NEED HOME & AWAY MATCHES TO KEEP FANS INVOLVED AND FUNDS COMING INTO THE CLUB. If this is not sorted, we will find other Clubs having difficulty in surviving. On a lighter note lets get behind our Team and build our support base. It's been done before - we can do it. COYB

| Regarding the fixture list, these are given the clubs in November and they have the right to go to the RFL and ask it to be changed.
We asked this to Steve Gill Cas CEO after having London, Catalan, Magic Weekend and Leeds all away back to back. He said that it was the club's fault and they could have gone and asked the RFL to change it.
So I'd be asking the club, not looking at the RFL in respect of that.

| But only if the opposition team agrees to the change isnt it, if not then back to square one.
Whereas if the RFL put consideration to the fixtures before they release them to the teams, we wouldn't have to deal with not having a home game for several weeks.
They work round wigan when the pitch is being replaced at the end of the football season and allow them to play several weeks on the road at their request then they now have several home game running up to the end of season maybe giving them momentum.

| How hard can it be to work out one home and one away? It's obviously beyond the capabilities of the RFl.

I expect that if Tesco's staff were paid late it would be reported in the media, social or otherwise.

It might get out into the media, but Tesco, like pretty much every large company, has rules about staff conduct on social media.

| I have read elsewhere that there are plans to create extra revenue by bringing speedway back to Odsal next year. Also there is a possibility of stock car racing returning in 2015.Both of these sports used to be very popular in Bradford ,it would make sense not to rely purely on Rugby to finance Odsal.

Well the Speedway Control Bureau apparently inspected the ground and confirmed the track met their specification.

| If I was on a speedway bike on the Odsal track now I’d be a bit wary of those steel girders that go into the ground on the bend by the Coral Stand. Can that really be safe? Where would they put the pits?
