My preference for captain isn't a leader. I want someone who can apologise to a referee.

Hock is on contract at Leigh until the end of 2018. Signed an extension earlier this season.

He has had a very good season so I don't see why he would be a free agent.

He has pleasantly surprised me since he joined. His skill and aggression far outweigh the occasional silly offload and as for his discipline... well... you can tell he is trying his best!

No point paying so much money for Hock to spend most of his time at Red Hall anyway.

Elima I always thought got the balance wrong. You expect a couple of penalties out of your "mongrel" players, but I always though he lost his head too much and cost us far too often. If you want the perfect example of the right balance, you look at someone like Ben Westwood. Yes he'll give penalties away, but his positives mean it's worth it. Not that we could attract someone of that calibre right now, but he's just the extreme example.

I think Elima left because he wanted his kids to be brought up in the French school education system

His more likely destination would probably be Toulouse

Useful signing if true. Despite having Chisholm, Charnock and Addy on the field today our game management was poor. Morrell is the old head we probably need for a year.

Good thing is props are a damn sight easier to sign than HB's. They will be plenty available to sign on loan throughout the season too.

On Murrell, I'm undecided. He does have some mongrel in him and loves defending. He could also have a spell at hooker too when we give O'Brien a 10 minute breather.
