How the same halfwits continue to totally ignore what people are actually annoyed about, and instead continue to argue something that none of us are actually arguing. On the topic of the match, Leeds loaning 3 players to fev for the end of the season seems to be an odd one to me.

1- Surely Leeds profit more from a game against us than against what has become their academy side with fev.
2- I thought fev were happy with their squad and hadn't needed any Leeds players really to be where they are. (Or at least as they would have you believe)

If Fev get through, it's a much easier 2 points from that game for Leeds than it would be against us. Sure they'd beat us too, but it'd be even easier to beat a Fev side who have players in that will be back at Leeds next year, or in fact don't allow said players to play and Fev have to look at disillusioned players who knew they're only in until the Rhinos Reserve grade are back next week.

Why does it matter? Fev-eligible players can play, and were always going to be able to play, and we just play the team in front of us.

From a Fev POV, never in a million years would I drop any of the team that has hit such a purple patch of form, to throw in second-rate interlopers. That will pis.s off not only the dropped faithfuls, but also their regular teammates, and more to the point, why would they want that disruption? Frankly, I hope they do. I doubt the names of those Leeds rejects mentioned have anyone at Odsal quaking in their boots. None of them would get in our team.

From a fev point of view it might have been better to have announced these loans after Sunday. It can only put doubt into some players heads as to where they stand in the squads future.

As for playing the team in front of us I 100% agree and with the squad we have if we show up we can beat anyone in this league. It's been a big if this year however and fev have probably proved they can do the same too

What bothers me the most about the additional £2 is that I'm expected to cough up even though I'm flying to Menorca this Sunday morning. How is that fair?

I think it is very clever of Leeds, by making them loan players they don't have to announce them as DR players before the 8s and are able to recall them after 4 weeks if required, and the 4 weeks cover this week and next week (CC semis) meaning that at worst they would only be unavailable to Leeds the first 2 weeks of the 8s. Get the feeling that Hethington is covering all the bases to make sure Leeds don't mess up the middle 8s.

By the way Leeds get 0p out of a Bradford v Leeds or Fev v Leeds game given that they will be away regardless of whether Leeds finish 9th or 10th (this assumes that Batley beat Swinton on Sunday which I think is likely).
