I hope (and think) Worrincy has fallen below Whitehead in the pecking order. Plus theres about 4 more games Whitehead will have to prove his worth in before Scully is fit.

Ewwenorfolk i dont dissagree BUT you nor i pick the team Donaldson should be there WAY BEFORE Worrincy but for what ever reason(maybe someone is paying his wages and insist on him playing nar the beers taking over now sorry) he keeps getting picked over a young kid who plays his heart out every time he,s on the pitch.

And Nero?

I didn't think Nero had a poor game individually. I just feel we need some sort of combination out on the left. With Platt back in contention it may be worth experimenting.

He just doesn't look interested when carrying the ball up, just happy to take the tackle where he stands. Reardon was similar tonight. I think one of Reardon or Nero needs to make way for Platt soon.

Nero has always been a average player in my opinion. He's so sluggish.

His form at the back end of last season was superb, but he hasn't had a good game yet this season.

Form is tempory. Class or lack of it is permanent.

Totally agree. Which is why we should have kept Glenn Morrison and got rid of Nero.

Arghh, I wasn't a big Morrison fan. He gave his all when he made the field but his presence didn't make that big of a difference.

My opinion is the opposite tbh. His 110% effort rubbed off on people when he was on, he's got a touch of class and he was what made Nero & Tadulala's side so deadly at the end of last season.

Now there's another one, I think we really have missed Tadulala on Nero's wing, quality in defence & attack and his drives early in the tackle count were exceptional, but at least we tried to keep him, but he's now a dark sider

Be interesting to see the win/loss ration when Morrison made the side. But I'm hopeless at Maths so I'm not gonna bother with that. Tadulala is a big loss IMO.

Tbh I think Langley was a huge blow, he's been our best player by far.

If he's back next week i'll still be confident we can win as long as we keep the errors out.

We can be confident without Langley with the right selection. We just got to replace like for like and that's a work horse, Langley out, Donno in.

Agree with that, Whitehead and Donaldson will both be England stars in a few years. How does Donaldson manage to stop your Morley's/Carvells/Paleaasinas in their tracks?

I disagree, I don't think it's solely his technique. The way he tackles, putting his body on the line, with 110% everytime is something which comes naturally to some (Langley aswell). And for his size it is amazing that he can stop impact props like Paleaasina and Crabtree by himslef.

He wouldn't stop those players if it wasn't for his technique. He'd be run over.

For the record, Donno's defence is superb for a young un.

As for the game today I don't think we should be too disheartened. We didn't play too badly with the exception of a certain Mr Worrincy. How he let Monaghan glide past him for his try was embarrassing. He should be pretty ashamed of his effort this week. Surely his chances are up now. Should be no where near the team next week.

Oh and the goalkicking sucked. Hopefully it was just a bad day for the kickers but we should have been 14 - 6 up at the break and then who knows what would have happened.

and which of orford,kearney,lestrange,hall and menzies would you be willing to lose to accomadate morrison?. whilst morrison was undoubtedly a better player than nero he took up a quota spot which nero doesnt, so it wasnt a straight choice between keeping one or the other.
