Purely a guess as he's on a short contract at Oxford

| Are the rumours permanent or loan?
Can't see how super dooper Feath with their BILLIONS of new investment and top 4 SL ambitions would be selling anyone.

They need to make room for Greg Inglis.
On the FB rumours, they would both be interesting signings, but I'd be surprised if Hull let Green go permanently, I'd guess that one would be a loan - doesn't he have the 10 shirt there? Finished last season in the 17 and I thought he was only out this year due to injury?

| I thought Wane was keen to hang on to him at the moment as they've had a few injuries?

Not sure, originally when Burke was injured Wane said he would come straight back to us. Depends on their injury situation I suppose

| Regarding Greg Burke... did the Bulls still have to pay him whilst he was injured or do they return to parent club with immediate effect?

| I am presuming the RILEY who scored last night for Wakefield is the same as the winger who played for Warrington???Why oh why didn't we sign him,he has genuine pace on the wing,it would make such a difference with the hard grounds fast approaching.
I fear Wakefield will take some catching with such as Sammut/Riley in their ranks.
I'd like to be wrong though.

He's only scored one try in about 8 games for them. Our back line is ok, it's props we're struggling in.

| Agree Re needing a prop,it's just that I rate Riley highly and pace not only get's you tries but also the ability to chase back and save tries. As the harder grounds arrive the teams with genuine pace come to the fore imo.
Let's see how we go against saints today who have two pacey wingers, although the ground will be wet not hard.
Jones Bishop would also do,but alas I can't see us attracting him next year as we might not even be in Super League.

| This is a vicious circle. Why would anyone sign up for next year with a team 8 points adrift? As someone has said earlier even with a relegation release clause they'd find themselves desperately trying to find a team at the last minute. Only if and when we catch up with 12th place will people want to come on board surely?
I know that's very gloomy but I'm not talking rubbish am I?

| To be fair BJB would no doubt be picked up but he can probably negotiate a much better deal for himself elsewhere anyway.
Rumour has it that we were interested in Jewitt before he went to Cas. Can't blame the guy for picking a side where if he impresses the coaching staff he will earn a SL contract, we can't promise that at the moment. So recruitment will be tough for all relegation threatened sides. I expect whoever goes down in 13th place (assuming London will be 14th) will be picked over by the other lower end SL clubs at the end of the season and might well have a fight to compete with established teams in the league below. Obviously with less teams in SL next year some players will have to drop down a division to get a contract so it might not all be doom and gloom.

Aren't SL contracts [iautomatically[/i voided on the loss of SL status?
Being realistic, even assuming some contracts are coming to an end, a set of contracts made within the SL cap limit are likely to take the club way over the limit in the lower division and also be financially unsustainable, leaving clubs with a small unbalanced squad and unable to recruit in the positions required.

I know he was tweeting shortly before our takeover about delivering 'two big hitters from the islanders'. With a bit of luck with have permission to sign from overseas. It seems like it will be our only chance of bringing any players in without it being a loan deal.

| Apparently a report in New Zealand suggests than Jordan Baldwinson and Mason Tonks - the two leeds juniors who left for the NRL last season - are going to be joining the Bulls on loan for the rest of the season.
That would be quite ironic if it turned out to be true!
Has a super league club ever done an overseas loan signing before?

| There is a report, and I kid you not, in the Sydney Daily Telegraph that Fui Fui Moi Moi is looking for a club over here.
Recently been dropped and might be available mid season.
