Just asked CM on twitter if the signing was for this season or next and he say for next season

Just read all of Connor's tweets over last hour

He rules out:

* Brett Seymour (knocked back our offer and will sign for Hull)
* Leon Pryce (can't see him coming anymore)
* Luke Burgess (not someone from Leeds. Also its for NEXT season)



so where does that leave us?

with briggs going on loan to quins and a signing been announced few days later it might well be dorn or gale. I suspect it might suprise us all though

Just looked on the Quins board and Dorn is contracted until 2013, Gale until 2012 so it probably isn't either of them.

ah no idea then. Lets hope its a good suprise eh

Well we'll just have to trust Potter and the powers that be but a headline/story which tells us we're signing Brett Seymour but not Leon is gradually turning into we're not signing Leon or Seymour but instead we're signing 'a good player'. I'm not overly impressed with the way Leon not returning has beeen spun.

I have a feeling that if Connor could go back in time a few days, he wouldn't run that article about Leon/Seymour.

I thought this was a rumour thread, not the Bulls official website, and the source is a tweeting journalist, so if theres any spin, its self spin. On you know what. so dont get upset about nothing, the facts will be there for all to see at 7 tomorrow. anyway what we should now be speculating about is if a half back is ruled out, a prop is ruled out, is it the specialist centre that so many including me want to see?

So many getting their hopes up over an average player. Jeez, it's not as if we've been outmuscled for a top class world beater. He's just average.

seeing as hull have mckinnen,heremia and seymour on board phelps seems redundant for next year. dont see how hes an improvement on anyone we have though. or thinking in terms of quins maybe loaning briggs for remainder of year in return for them releasing clubb?. Cant see it being anyone paricularly exciting given way connors phrasing it.

i will speculate that he will be in the top 3 quality halfbacks that move to/ within SL this off season

Perhaps we're going get one of our long overdue 'signings to whet the appetite'

just a thought but connor hasnt specifically said its a new signing as far as I can see. could he be being mischievous and its a re-signing off one of current players?

My guess is Luke Gale

a quins player would make sense of briggs suddenly going on loan there, if it was as a sweetener in deal. Shame they dont really have anyone I'd see as a decent improvement on squad we already have.
