Hardly a tonking. But last play options were not good. I think Briggs should be brought in for the Quins game just to provide a bit more to our final 1/3 attacking options.

Henderson was really good. Such a refreshing change from the donks on BCB.

Sounded like Ainscough played well. Really impressed with him. Havent seen the tries conceded down the right, but he seems to have shown up well again.

Can we be really dissapointed with a two score loss to Saints?

Not really IMO.

We need to be realistic about who we think we can beat or compete with. We are not a top 4 Team or even a top 6 Team. Mid to lower table and concentrate on beating those around and below us. It's going to be a long hard season, we simply are not that good, yet! We need to find our best 17 and work on the basics as well as discipline. We give the opposition too much cheap possession and yards every week.

Serves us right for not playing a recognised STAND OFF. Ainscough was quality.... Did he see much of the ball though? NO

During the early stages in the second half we could have collapsed but we didn't and dug deep and got a couple of consolation tries to even up the scoreline. I think it's harsh to say it was a "shocking" performance. Saints scored a brace of tries while Sykes was in the bin which cost us in the end.

We had a big game last week against Cas that took a lot out of us and it was always going to be a tough ask for the team to back it up 5 days later away from against a Saints side who played very well against Leeds.

I think Briggs will be included next week as our kicking was poor for the second week running. Overall it could have been a lot worse. Good support from our fans as well!

Saints down to 12, Bradford don't score, Saints down to 11 bradford don't score, Saints back up to 12 and Bradford finally get over.

A few more attacking players and Bradford could go well. Lets face it, it's still and improvement on the Bulls of last year.

Isn't hindsight wonderful? The fact is, 1-17 played well last week and none of them deserved to be dropped, justifying MP's pre-season comments.

Saints just had that bit better execution tonight, with Briggs ours will improve. And at 26-6, I'm proud of the team for conceding only two points in half an hour, not rolling over, and a good attitude. We have to be realistic, we played last seasons grand finalists and matched them for spells.
