| Huddersfield will be the hardest game, but they may be focussing on the cup (I hope). Catalans and Salford should be wins if we play like the 1st half at Quins and Hull isn't impossible.
Come on you bulls, go unbeaten for the rest of the season, through the play-offs and become the first team to win the GF from eighth

| Based on the season we've had, I predict we'll absolutely murder Huddersfield and Catalans, and then slip to a dismal defeat against Salford
Still, at least it will give us the Hull match to throw in some of the kids

hang on to it for now. I'm not that convinced it'll still be valid this time next week!

Only one draw in the first 23 rounds of the season, and you predict there to be two more within the final 4 rounds.
Wishful thinking to say the least

| This was how I had the final games (fixtures from bbc sport, I'm assuming they're correct)
Leeds WIN v Castleford
Wigan WIN v Warrington
Catalans Dragons WIN v Hull
Harlequins RL v Salford WIN
Huddersfield v Bradford WIN
Hull KR v St Helens WIN
Wakefield WIN v Celtic Crusaders
Hull WIN v Harlequins RL
Salford v Hull KR WIN
St Helens WIN v Huddersfield
Celtic Crusaders v Leeds WIN
Bradford WIN v Catalans Dragons
Castleford WIN v Wigan
Warrington v Wakefield WIN
Leeds v St Helens WIN
Wigan WIN v Hull
Catalans Dragons v Wakefield WIN
Celtic Crusaders v Huddersfield WIN
Bradford WIN v Salford
Harlequins RL v Castleford WIN
Hull KR WIN v Warrington
Hull v Bradford WIN
Salford v Leeds WIN
St Helens WIN v Catalans Dragons
Castleford v Celtic Crusaders WIN
Huddersfield WIN v Wigan
Wakefield WIN v Hull KR
Warrington WIN v Harlequins RL
That makes the following changes to the points...
St Helens 36 + 8 = 44
Leeds 34 + 6 = 40
Huddersfield 32 + 4 = 36
Hull KR 29 + 4 = 33
Wigan 24 + 4 = 28
Wakefield 24 + 8 = 32
Castleford 24 + 4 = 28
Warrington 22 + 2 = 24
Harlequins RL 22 + 0 = 22
Catalans Dragons 22 + 2 = 24
Hull 18 + 2 = 20
Bradford 17 + 8 = 25
Salford 12 + 2 = 14
Celtic Crusaders 6 + 2 = 8
Making the final table something like
1 St Helens 44
2 Leeds 40
3 Huddersfield 36
4 Hull KR 33
5 Wakefield 32
6 Wigan 28
7 Castleford 28
8 Bradford 25
9 Warrington 24
10 Catalans Dragons 24
11 Harlequins RL 22
12 Hull 20
13 Salford 14
14 Celtic Crusaders 8
Obviously it's not going to happen but I will be checking the odds tonight when I get home.

| Yes we know that. it's just interesting that despite our terrible season we're still just within touching distance of the top 8 and could technically still win the whole thing.
Shows how strange the play-off system is that a team which has spent the whole season only just avoiding being the worst in the league can still technically end up with the prize with only 4 regular season games to go.

| Just sent one hardy soul who asked for it my spreadsheet. Put Andrea's "forecast" in (proves her numbers too, but no surprises there!). Its one of only a handful of permutations that would work.
Just DOES make you wonder what odds you'd get on an 8th finish now! I'd say about 100-1 at very best?!

Especially when I fancy them to sneak Old Trafford. Bizarre, but they have a coach who knows how to get there and a squad that are improving week on week.

| Quote ="sirlesboyd"To be honest I'm a bit concerned that we will actually miss out on the top 8 this season.
Tough game at Wigan this Friday,
Wakey at home the week before the final - the only time we've managed to beat Saints since 1996 was when we played them the week before the CC final and they took the eye of the ball. I think we may just do the same
Hull KR away the week after - the celebrations probably wont actually finish until the Thursday night
Quins at home to finish.
Being realistic we are looking at 2 wins out of 4 - not convinced that will be enough to see us into the top 8.
BUT
This season, would I swap a Wembley Cup Final for a place in the top 8 play offs - what do you think ??'"

| I tried to find some yesterday. Skybet didn't have any. Paddy power had some teams but none of the bottom four. Odds checker said that bet360 had us for 250/1 to get into the eight. I didn't bet then but I might put a quid on

| i dont think Wire are looking into the two upcoming superleague matches as there are a few players 'injured'. It looks to be a wigan win tomorrow with the pies full of revenge and a young team out for the wire, so that result should go your way. Good look. hope you can get into the playoffs, it won't be the same without bradford in !

Yeah, it looks like Hudds aren`t taking the cup as seriously as Wire (let`s hope someone from the Galpharm reads this and takes the appropriate action, like having a few `injuries` for Sunday) so it`ll probably be Wire to win the cup and Hudds to make up the numbers in the play-offs.
Much better to go for the final you`re already in than to start again going through the rounds isn`t it chaps

| Difference between Hudds and wire is Hudds have had superb squad rotation all season and even if they did rest 4 or 5 players on Sunday, they would be replaced by players of equal caliber
