), and so I was singing one of his songs while playing the guitar for you. It was like a bit of wit and humour. You seriously need to lighten up.

But yeah, there is a clue, its about the banner. What was I doing, commenteing on the banner design by FA, just like loads have others have done.

as I was misinformed about the copyright on the potter image at uni I have had to take them down, so I have done another with pictures I have taken myself... If you didn't like the honours on the banner you will hate this one!

Reason I don't like that is there's a whole bunch of pots, but it's the banner of a team which currently holds a sum total of zero pots, and so it's incongruous and embarrassing in equal measure. To me the banner just says "Look, we used to win stuff, we ain't won owt of late but here's some we won earlier". Same reason I am against listing past honours. I loved the Potter image combined with a modern 21c feel, as whatever we go with, I would much prefer it to make a modern statement that we are looking forward, not living in the past.

because no-one has bothered doing one since we found out the new banner size

I'm not against the idea of a modern banner but I don't think we've had anything better than the 'vintage' style one by Joesfw so far (not that I would know where to start in designing one).

I still think the latest one by Joesfw with a picture of the Odsal bowl instead of the trophoes would be pretty good.
