I think it likely that the RFU would be just as clueless in a similar situation. Difference is, they'd just let market forces take their course with minimal interference. They certainly wouldn't asre about micro-managing a survival package in the way the RFL has.

The other thing TBF is that most of their bidders' chauffeurs would have more disposable than all our suitors combined.

It sounds to me like nobody really knows what’s going on up there. If this is the standard of leadership and transparency we can expect from the new owners it makes the Green regime look like halcyon days.

If it really is his house this is secured against (which I don't believe, hence my research) then the average house sale on his street over the last two years was a little over a million quid.

I would certainly hope that rumours of borrowing off the RFL are quashed. The RFL are becoming a estate agents otherwise.
