It had thus become "my round" and so I did offer, but he said he preferred to be in a position to whinge and moan about me NOT buying him a pint for the foreseeable.




So yes, it was my round, and no, I didn't buy him one.



I will, though, at the next RAB Fighting Cock and Curry Night which I was directed to organize. The suggestion was a Wednesday in the next month or so, 630pm meet at FC.

I would put this on the Curry thread, but can't find it. Can those who are interested step forward one pace, and indicate which Wednesday evenings in the next few weeks (a) you can't do and (b) would prefer.

Great night out last night with the RAB chaps.

Damn shame the whole quiz was rigged and we ended up losing out (my storming win on today's Music Minute on Heart Radio proves I'm clever) but I won't let that upset me







One thing that came across really well was actually how professional the rugby guys are, especially the younger squad players. Spending the night with us could have been a real chore but they were chatty, had loads of banter and actually came across as thoroughly well grounded individuals.

So thanks Ethan, Joe, Dale (and the other RAB team) for making it an enjoyable evening... and see you on curry night!!!
