Just bought my tickets from The Wakefield ground as its close to where I work, I asked how soon they are likely to sell out, she basically laughed at me and said there's no chance after yesterday's result, my advise would be to buy them from Wakefield once out allocation sells out. I double checked and you can stand anywhere. Wouldn't it be great if we can bring more fans than them to their own ground!

This is just another reason it should have been held at a neutral venue. A lot of people are going to miss out and that's money that's just been lost to the sport.

though I don't know if they wanted to see a membership card for each ticket or not. The queue was longer when I left than when I arrived.

Not sure there would be as many calls for it to be at a neutral venue had it been at Odsal. It's a shame that out of all the teams realistically likely to be involved in this game, it's ended up at the stadium with the smallest capacity. But we had the chance to at least try and claim to have this staged at home and didn't take it so tough.

Yeah, agree amber. The rules were known at the start [and, for once, the RFL haven't changed horses midstream... and we're at Wakey.

Bought 2 from Wakefeild no issues and was quick online, plus its an eticket so no issues with delivery.

Lets get as many Bulls as we can into the ground, if you might miss out buy from wakefeild, bulls miss out on a sale but thats our own fault for throwing games away, tough, would rather be there than not.

Blame Peter Box the WMBC chairman and Castleford shareholder for that, it probably won't make much difference but the girl in the shop said that the bulls had received 2400 tickets not 2000, so every little helps, got mine half an hour ago and the lass said the sales had been quite brisk, but she probably would not know who she was selling to so they could have been for either, I wouldn't panic just yet though.

Sold out of adult tickets before they've even gone on general sale, excellent response from the fans. Hope the Wakefield club are going to be organised for the big crowd that will be there. Decided against taking my little lad back to Belle Vue though after some of the issues last time we visited. Hearing conflicting info regarding whether it is to be segregated, which isn't a great start if fans aren't aware before arriving at the ground.

Too late to segregate. It's not beyond possibility that they will be more Bulls fans than Wakey fans. Can't put us all down the side! Got mine and they was a steady flow of people purchasing tickets. Reckon they will be completely sold out by the end of the day.

Do we think can't see lauaki being anywhere near not after last match, I've given him so leeway but he was dire against fax, going to be a tough match, and who ever gets the crucial score be for HT will fun out winners I feel, really need to be up for this no excuses now, first day of the rest of our lives (or at least next season)

Completely amateurish organisation from Wakefield. What made them think that 2K would be enough for the Bulls? As a result there are almost certainly (judging by FB) hundreds of Bulls fans buying tickets from the Wakefield website...

Which is possibly what they're comfortable with, given we'll take a percentage for any sold through our ticket office.

They are giving you an initial allocation in line with what I imagine are normal rules. It appears you are being given more so whats the problem?

Look the ground is what it is. In terms of percentage of capacity Wakey aren't doing anything wrong by giving us the initial 2k. They haven't introduced any rules to prevent purchase directly from them instead. Is all this faux outrage because it's squeaky bum time or what?

I'm surprised there hasn't been more of a backlash against the Bulls for the way they are selling them.

Firstly I tried this morning for a full hour (until I had to go into meetings) and everytime I was in a queue and then put through to answerphone. No call back has yet been received!!! The main frustration is that despite ringing up, you then have to join the back of the phone queue just cos the club aren't set up to hold people.

The second issue for me is the rumours that folk are buying ridiculous multiples of tickets depsite it being apparently members only. Surely with only 2400 on offer it should be 1x ST = 1x Ticket??? Just hope those that are posting 10+ tickets on twitter have 10x memberships to back it up.

As it is, I ended up managing to get a ticket from a reletive who went to buy at the ground. She had my ST just in case there was this scenario but I would imagine that many have fallen foul and ended up not knowing if they are going to get one.

I hope those that don't get one from Bulls make effort to buy from Trinity. Would be great if there were so many Bulls fans that they ended up having to segregate the crowd in favour of Bulls behind the posts!!! Doubt it though.

More likely because they'll probably try and herd us all onto the Western terrace again - which, given that more than half of the tickets will be sold to Bulls fans, is going to cause a whole load of problems.

It would have been easier to have beaten Halifax, then the problems of the tickets would have been theirs???

There was no limit on tickets. I thought they might have limited it to maybe 2 per membership card. Also card machines are still not working so it looks like they're just taking down card details which isn't ideal, just hope they don't add an zero to my order when it's processed!!

I think it's harsh blaming the Bulls regarding the phone situation. They sold 1000 tickets in just 2 hours. I'd imagine with work commitments most of them would have been over the phone. To handle that amount of calls you're talking about a medium sizes call centre. We simply don't have the infrastructure or facilities or number of staff to deal with that volume of calls.

Regarding fans buying multiple tickets, I brought 8 but 5 of those already had ST and the others have been to virtually every home and away match. But that's just my personal experience and I understand where you're coming from.

At the end of the day they will be many disappointed fans due to the small capacity, not because of the way the club are selling them.

The RFL is treating the MPG as a challenge cup tie with regards to sharing gate receipts.

Also, if the numbers of Bulls fans going to the game is 2k+, I don't think the Western Terrace will hold that - so applying segregation on the day would have safety implications.

I don't know whats going on with the card machines. I paid for the tickets for Leigh away intending to use my card. Was told it was out of order - so they took my card details down long hand. To date the transaction still has not appeared on my card statement on line.
