Well the players were out in groups in and around Bradford today to promote the pledge. Have to say, when I saw them in Bradford they weren't really doing a great deal to get people to sign up. Especially when there's a load of chuggers around for several different charities.

It might be an idea for the Bulls to hire some of these guys to be in Bradford on Saturday afternoons as it's their job to get people to sign up for things

Pledged straight after the KR match and bought (well mother in law did) £75 is a bargain 12,000 should be doable but need pushing i remeber the interest was higher last year at this point ( i may be wrong)

got to admit I cant help wondering if the pledge counter on the website is being deliberately held below the 3k. After the initial confusion about the first 3k pledges being £75 (later clarified to first 3k payers being £75) cynical side of me thinks clubs are banking on people still thinking its first 3k pledges and signing up thinking their going to get ticket for guaranteed price. Suspect once the 3k guaranteed price tickets are sold the counter will jump a couple of thousand very quickly.

Either that or the pledge is going badly and we are in deep trouble

Tbh we saw this last year with pledge counter total being 'managed' rather than accurate, or at least that was suspicion at time.

I wouldn't worry about the counter being stuck on 2500. After the weekend and people still wiating for the end of the month (it's been a five week month for most) I think you'll be about right in that it'll jump up a couple of thousand.

When I spoke to someone in the ticket office yesterday I asked about numbers, and the reply was that we're over 3000 in pledges but not up to 3000 paid, but its close. So if you've pledged but not paid you can still guarentee £75 today, but I'd suggest you pay pretty quickly to be in the first 3000.

I hope it stays under 3000 paid until I get there...

It's been a five week month so expect next Wednesday to be the day when the 3K are all paid up.

Forgot to say that I went up on Saturday and paid for mine - 2 adults, 2 children. I asked if they were over 3000 paid and her response was: "I will let you have tem for that price." Read into that what you will!

I used my points to pay as well - so paid less than £200 for a family ticket. Regardless of anything, that is still outstanding value for a season's sport.

Four of us pledged at the HKR game at half time and got a reply straight away, wife text again after 20 mins to cancel hers because we were crap funny we never got a reply to that one. Anyway went in on Sunday and paid £70 each for 4 (£5 each back on team card)

16 days left. Don't read toouch into figure on website as it's managed rather than accurate. We'll comfortably reach 10k, the 12k target is maybe doubtful though. Wouldn't be surprised if deadline gets extended though
