Given our lack of a quota spot (Menzies should get another deal) there is no way we should let Sheriffe go. I'd let Reardon go though and bring in one winger to compete with Halley and Sheriffe for a wing spot. (With Halley covering FB aswell).

oh dear a poor loser, the ref gave bad decisions both ways, this shouldnt distract us from what what a high intensity game where both sides gave their all to try and win the game, so credit to both teams. As for injuries we were missing four possible 1st teamers five if you count Clarke. as for the second point above I Believe Ben Harrison was trying to get the ref to stop the game so whys that unsportsmanlike. it was a tough game, you got beat but beat with a lot of pride in your efforts

A lot of people are saying "injury hit bulls" but we were missing L Anderson,Myler and Carvell from our first team line up,so similar problems for the wire camp as the bulls camp have. Injuries are part and parcel of our sport and should never be used as an excuse when games are lost.

I reckon you're right, Wire and Bulls are equally well-matched to deal with injuries and the identity of players on the field is irrelevant to determining the result.

You are on the Bradford board. Generally it is felt that they only lose due to two reasons.

1. Injuries.
2. The ref.

We had injuries too,and I was far from happy with the decisions given against us. For example you scored one try after a knock on by Menzies! Maybe you need to accept that you were pipped at the post by a better side and be slightly more gracious in defeat? We have lost against the bulls on occasion in the past when we did not deserve to lose,accept it,it's sport,you can't change results by whining about the ref and injuries so why bother? By the way shouldn't you add 3. The scoreboard as it's that which says wether you have won or not,nothing else?

Great post except for minor detail that when you listen back to it you hear that morley wasnt penalised for moving off the mark. The tackle wasn't complete and silverwood signalled play on, morley ignored this and played the ball. This is what he was penalised for.

silverwood really is a joke, took away what a exciting, well contested and in the last 10 minutes nail bitting game it was. Have watched the game back and IMHO Silverwood shouts "wrong mark" for the penalty. And although my glasses are slightly primrose and blue tinted, I think the ref was as bad for both sides and both sets of fans can point to probably equal numbers of very poor calls.

(Question though......if in open play, a player put the ball directly on the ground (doesnt go forward or even move) and then kicks it back to his own player who collects it cleanly...why is that an illegal move?)
