IIRC Henry got an exemption from overseas quota due to how young he was when he came over. Never was really clarified though. Afaik we don't have any spots free on either quota now.

Players can be on one or both quotas. You can be EC and/or Kolpak and still not be fed trained, eg Siejka, Uaisele and Ulugia, or as Henry shows overseas but is fed-trained.

Think you've got that back to front actually. Adam is on the overseas quota but not on the non-fed quota.

Just to clarify I believe this is our current list: 5 Overseas - Davies, Henry, lauaki, Mullaney and Purtell and the 7 non-fed are all the o/seas except Adam Henry, plus Siejka who is EC and Uaisele and Ulugia who are both Kolpaks.

The reason I said it was redundant is because it's too easy to circumnavigate. All it takes is some distant blood relative and a random passport and hey presto, you're off the quota. Just ask HKR from a few years ago.

This was the exact reason why the non fed quota was introduced, to stop teams from exploiting the loopholes in the overseas quota.

So yes, technically it is still there, but the key quota to pay attention to is the non-fed one, of which we had 8 until Henry pulled his exemption trick.

that is correct, as emailed to me by Ryan Sparks so the squad list page OP listing gave the definitive status of each player re overseas etc. I think it was on the facebook page where it mentioned Henry as being exempt due to age.
