Big games this weekend.
Think if we beat Oldham, London beat batley and fax beat fev it should be down to us and batley for the last spot then all we need to do is avoid a loss at fev dead easy right. Provided barley don't rack up a record in their last game.

| So if we win, Feathestone and London both win, won't that mean that Featherstone and Bradford will only need a draw in the last game to both qualify?
That could be interesting. What's to stop both teams sitting down on the pitch for 80 mins and having a cup of tea?

Depends on points difference.
3 Halifax RLFC 21 13 7 1 573 419 154 27
4 Batley Bulldogs 21 13 7 1 496 441 55 27
5 Bradford Bulls 21 12 7 2 673 414 259 26
6 Featherstone Rovers 21 13 8 0 551 364 187 26
Fax + Batley would need a big score in their final game if that where happen, imagine the total uproar if it did, seen it in football and i dont have a problem with teams doing that.

If Naylor has a good look at the 2nd half Bulls performance, he won't be that worried especially if they get another naïve Ref and can get away with laying on and get in yer face also the occasional lower body massage, the Bulls lacked the gnarly leadership needed to get them through a poor patch when momentum was lost, someone with a gnarly type character like ............Jimmy Lowes!

Well, yes, we both know it's true, but the one thing to prevent it is if [iour team[/i go into the game believing it.
Not that I'm so narcissistic as believe that a single one of them will ever read anything I write, or even if they did, take a blind bit of notice... Just don't want to be a hostage to fortune

| Has anybody heard if any of our injured player are due to return for this one? Gaskell was mentioned as targeting the Oldham game but it's all gone quiet on that front. What's up with Ferguson?

Dale Ferguson, Epalahame Luaki and Tom Olbison are all back in the 19-man squad and will feature on Sunday.
Lee Gaskell and Mitch Clark will be back for the first week of the Qualifying Eights/Championship Shield.
Some interesting announcements to be made over the coming weeks - both players in and out.
Listen to BCB from 2pm on Sunday to hear interviews from Rohan Smith, John Bastian, Dane Chisholm, Ethan Ryan, Lewis Charnock and Steve Crossley.

| It was arranged already for both games, the blokes on the door have the list of the RAB sponsors and all you have to do is turn up at the door and they can crosscheck you on their list, and provide you (free) with a very snazzy plastic thingamybob clamped permanently to your wrist. We were then sent into the lounge on the right, I forget the name, as opposed to straight ahead into the big area.
It was done this way because everyone will already be in the ground and so to save the ballsache of obtaining and distributing paper tickets/passes. If you do have any queries such as "Can I get a pass for my car", or "What will win the 2.35 at Pontefract", or "What is the meaning of life", etc then you would need to phone the club and ask Laura, but for all normal purposes, just turn up at the Coral Stand door and say you're a RAB sponsor.
I did consider suggesting that members should wear an identifying token, such as a daffodil projecting from the left nostril, so that we would all know who was a RAB, but then I realized that you are such a contrary bunch that nobody would do it on principle, so it is entirely left to your own devices - a bit like SETI - to find each other. Although if anyone wants to propose a more certain way of meeting up then post it here.

| Surprised no Kavanagh as he's been going well. But suppose he's been out a long time.

Lauaki will have to do some big minutes. Don't think that's the line up what Smith will go for. But i wanted tof reshen things up a bit. I'd dropped Addy as out of all our back-rowers, his performances haven't been up to scratch

Is how I'd go. Think Olbison will be asked to fill in at prop again. Don't think Addy has been bad enough to deserve dropping and prefer Pitts coming off bench. Wasn't Philbin described as a prop/2nd row when he came in? If so he could be an option instead of olbison too.

Considering his apparent bones of biscuit since signing for us, I don't think it's all that surprising. Realistically any team we put out from our squad, SHOULD beat Oldham. That's no disrespect, but it should be the case. We all know it might not be, but the point remains. It makes no sense to risk someone who's looked a very good player but has had nothing but injury problems this season.

Mellor & Pitts both played there last week didn't they?

Philbin spent some time at prop against Haven last week.
