| Is there a limit on the number of loan players a club can sign in a single Super League season?
1. Mullally
2. Burke
3. Bridge
4. Sutcliffe
5. Kaufusi
6. Pitts
7. Arundel
8. Baldwinson
9. Tonks
10. Williams
That's not including the Warrington trio that signed during the pre-season. You can pretty much name a starting 13 of loan players this year.

| Quote ="woolly07"I can only think he is a possible signing for next year. Other than that, I am completely puzzled at signing a winger. Fans will not be fooled by just any signing. He is a good player so lets hope he is a long term replacement.'"
A few points:
1. Does he still have some speed?
2. Can he still finish tries?
3. Can he carry the ball forward without doing a 40m sprint sideways?
4. Can he tackle?
5. Does he need a years supply of hair product every day?
If he provides some pace, tries and more importantly HEART then I'll applaud this signing. Probably better than what we already have.

Unfortunately some pace is correct, granted he can run faster than me but that's not saying much.
His Hammies seem to be on the fragile side nowadays and injuries have defo taken their toll.
But hes a decent enough guy who will put his all in week in week out, Wish him and Bradford all the best

Although not the blistering pace he had a couple of years ago, Danny can still do damage, wears his heart on his sleeve and puts his body on the line... I for one always supported his efforts, definitely a true professional.
He's popped over 3 times this season during limited time on the field in a side that has been poor to bad, so yes, he can still score.
Mostly runs direct due to his creaking hamstrings.
Defence for a winger is average but he will throw his body into anything as the scars on his face prove.
He doesn't need any hair products but his lass does lol
In short, If Danny plays as he has for Salford, all Bulls fans should be pleased as he plays with honour

I'd agree with this.
That said, he has a great attitude from what I have seen when speaking with him and hopefully this is shared when he is training with the first team. He's definitely one for the future IF we can keep hold of him long enough!!!

| The only way I can make any sense of this if it is effectively a trial for a contract next season. I guess Jimmy showed he wasn't happy with the options in the backs (Foster or Arundel) by picking Blythe on the wing last week. Blythe into 2nd row this week? Disappointed for Arundel, whilst shown little in attack thought his defense was strong. If only it was a couple of big props!!

Zach Johnson at Swinton is a big, aggressive old fashioned prop. Plays mainly off the bench and gives very good impact.
Another Championship player well worth a look in my opinion is Miles Greenwood at Batley. Probably the form player in that league at the moment. He's lightening quick. I think he's scored something like 10 tries in his last 3 games.

I guess it will take him a lot of time to get used to standing about on the wing waiting for the ball all game.
Oh hang on...

I don't watch as much championship rugby as in past seasons but from what I've seen, both Beefy's choices would be well worth a punt. There's also a good number of Bulls Academy products who are relatively young and might fancy coming back.
Two young players who have impressed me in struggling Championship 1 sides are Oxfords full back Morris and South Wales hooker Connor.
Connor is a bundle of energy and for a small man ,very tough-- the word nuggety comes to mind.
We must build a strong pack, ideally with 3 seasoned props and a couple of developing young front rowers. At the moment I believe all the top 8 in the Championship could match or better our starting pack.obviously it's difficult to be certain and some of the players who are out of form in Superleague may be stars in SL2.
I'd hope that we could keep as a minimum, Donno, Addy , Mellor, Roberts as well as Bates. I blow hot and cold re Olbison- if anyone can address his shortcomings it's Lowes.

| I am all for giving the young lads a go but they must be up to a certain standard first otherwise they get hammered in SL and that will demoralise them. They get to that standard by playing in the second team with "occasional" spots on the first team bench. Playing a young lad against the Cats this weekend would not help them if we get slaughtered again. It is a tough decision for a coach as to when to throw them in.
I believe the loans rule is up to five at any one time. You can have hundreds of them over the season but no more than 5 signed at once.

| Williams played well and had a hand in the Henry try during the first half. He's streaks ahead of George and Foster in my opinion and handled the high ball well under pressure. Kear and Williams on the wings for the remainder of the season.
