I'm surprised by the number who claim they won't be watching. It should be worth watching if only for the hatred that currently exists between the two teams and to see if there are any repercussions after the last game at Headingley. I'd be surprised if it 'erupts' early on (or at all) but there are some individual battles that might get a bit 'tasty' as Stevo puts it (Graham vs JJB, Bailey vs Fa'asavalu, Smith vs Gilmour, Senior vs Wilkin etc).

I'd rather Saints won just so we have new champions for a change. Can't have Leeds (or anyone for that matter) winning it three years in a row.

I'm glad these two teams made it to the final. After the last time they played I'm expecting Saturday's match to be full of punch ups. Any less than three and I'll be disappointed

I'll be at the game. I won't be cheering for anyone out loud, but I'll be hoping Saints win, because my cousin will be playing for them, and my dislike of Leeds currently outweighs my dislike of Saints.

Don't Saints hold the record for the most GF wins / championships in SL?

You'll find a lot more Bulls fans supporting Leeds than Wigan or Warrington supporting Saints, which I find amazing. I always supported Saints when they played the Bulls, mainly because we used to get stuffed by the Bulls nearly every match (making our lives a total misery) and they are THE local rivals whatever Cas fans think.

I hope for a tense low scoring game with plenty of biff... Not fussed who wins really... very hard to pick!

Meh. Will be on a plane to the Costa Del Sol, so will allow myself a smile at the expense of the runners' up and not sweat too much over whoever got up. Will be at Aus vs NZ though.

In true FA style which is de riguer on these boards I think I can confidently say that 59% of us will not be supporting Saints which is a shocking state of affairs given that they are playing our bitterest local rivals

geez, i guess it's clear to see the old saints bulls rivalry has all but vanished. Though it was 7 years ago the last time you contested a final i guess.

Our rivalry with Saints was very much of a time. It's still there to an extent, but was always going to die away when one of us slipped from the top - it just happened to be us who slipped. The rivalry with Leeds will always be there no matter how well either club does.

It's like asking Wigan fans to cheer for Saints in a Bulls/Saints final because we beat them twice in the GF, hammering them the first time (not quite the same matchup but you get my drift)
