Nearly there IMHO. I would prefer to see it without the "four times...etc" bit although this space could eventually be used for sponsored players names.

Maybe a smidge more of a gap between the top two lines of text - seems a bit compressed up there.

It was stipulated that the SS.com one had to have 'part of the RLfans.com netwtork'

Also, every other site, including the 1970s original Castleford design has it.

The Potter pic is definitely a must whichever the banner is, for mine.

I agree about the Potter pic. Excellent idea from Josef, and the use of the image is better on Josef's - the cropped version on the 'Vark's does not flatter him. I prefer the mixed-case for RAB on 'Vark's to the upper case on Josef's. I think a simplistic modern striking banner like 'Vark's probably gives a slightly more "renewal" and forward-looking message, although I absolutely love the sepia parchment effect on Josef's - its really growing on me.

From the ones I have seen so far, I would elect:

1. Vark's striking modern banner design (although Josef's innovative sepia parchment retro jobbie is excellent too so either would do fine provided Josef worked on the font a bit more)
2. Josef's Potter image (brilliant)
3. Add "Proudly sponsoring...."

Until, of course, a better-again one comes along...

Must say my favourite so far is the one by Josefw. I think the slightly 'vintage' look is pretty cool and with a little more tweaking will be spot on. I'd like to see how it would look with a faint image of Odsal as part of the background. But I may prefer the simpler design.

I've removed my banner as the image of Potter I used is copyright of Reuters.. I would urge others to check the legality of their images too.

I haven't checked the legality of the Potter image, josew sounds confident about it.

I like the vintage look too, but on balance am going for modern rather than trad.

However what about a mixture of modern and the trad pic of Potter?

I also like the suggestion of "Proud sponsors".
