His commentary on us at Huddersfield is really something to behold. Takes all of three minutes to decide Bullls aren't up for it, then hold poor defence responsible for every Bulls try.

Now Ray's retired Stevo is now the most out of touch commentator on RL!

Anyone who watches the Co-Op Leagues on a Thursday can hear what decent commentary is. The team of Bill Arthur, Barrie Mac & Terry O'Connor is FAR better than Eddie & Stevo are these days.

Don't have a problem with Eddie, but Stevo is getting worse.

Remember this is the wakner who said potentially actionable things about Bulls finances earlier in the season. Maybe the club gave the jerk a warning, and he's taking every opportunity to get his own back? Just a guess of course.

My major problem with Stevo is his calling tries when the video quite clearly shows loss of control - he still doesn't change his mind.

I think Eddie is the biggest b####ck on there though.

Phil Clarke however, despite his over the top analogies is generally spot on. Barry Mac can be hilarious and Terry O'Connor after a shaky start is showing some promise as a pundit

Don't have a problem with Phil Clarke or Barrie Mac though.
Eddie has started to make more and more mistakes as the season has progressed, and Stevo just talks 99% bullsh*t.
Terry O' Conner is ok as a pundit, but I don't really like him as a commentator, his pronunciation isn't quite at the same standards as the rest of them.

My only gripe with Clarkey is a bit patronising and it seems like he assumes the public don't have the slightest about RL. Other than that I find his analysis pretty interesting.

He doesn't really hide his Wigan bias though does he...

When Wigan aren't playing, Clarkey enjoys a certain bias towards whomever the Lancashire (or close enough to) team are.

Leaving aside his commentating ability, Stevo isnt a journalist. He probably picks up numerous bits of gossip and has plenty of contacts but doesnt strike me as a journo who goes looking for stories.

I've always assumed that his column is about 70% ghosted and his tips are mainly provided by LE's "proper" journos.
