I know what people are saying, 'dont say Macca has been sacked on RLFANS' because of the potential libel or whatever'.

All Im saying is that I will take 'mutual consent' how I want to take it.

The shortlist for the England job was always pretty short, and you would have thought a competent sports governing body might have tried all it could to not remove a clubs coach during the season when they had ample time to sort it in the off season... (spot the failing in my logic above for a bonus point)

I have long felt that the RFL has been far from friendly towards Bradford. I'll not speculate as to reasons on here. But I wonder if they would have dared treat, say, Leeds with the same level of disdain?

A conspiracy theorist could come up with a long list of events coming out of Red Hall or its officials that have not done us much good. Maybe the future history books will provide some enlightenment?

They probably could treat Bradford like this because Bradford could not financially afford to fight the case. An early release also could have saved compensation. Don`t forget to get to Odsal early on Sunday as all the fans who boycotted the Bulls until Macca left will be back. Perhaps it should be all ticket.

Your paranoia is hitting new heights. I would be very interested in the long list of events & speculation. Yes it was crap timing by the RFL, MacNamara could always have said no or wait until the season is over. It's not as if England have been overwhelmed with internationals since his appointment.

Maybe the club can give you the name of ex-season ticket holders and you can berate them in person, I'm sure that will up attendances.

There's lot of simple things that could be done with marketing that haven't been done this season to my knowledge. How about getting a player/bullman in to any of the big supermarkets on a Sat morning giving out some vouchers for discounted tickets? The schools are an obvious route, but it seems that has died off a little too, and some of the problem is that when people do get excited - my son has brought three mates this year - who have continued to come since the Leeds home match (so all they've seen is us lose) and they can't even buy a home shirt, despite wanting to, because there are none left. So, yes, I'm afraid as Adey points out - we might be in the grip of the accountants and we need instead to turn towards creating revenue streams and reinvigorating the support base, not working out how much more we can save by undermining the customer experience.

No, they haven't. The job though, is a full time one, so one assumes the RFL have some other duties in mind, beyond picking an international side and then making the excuses when they lose. Then again I could be wrong, we are talking RFL after all.

I've been saying for years that the RFL and Stuart Cummings have been out to screw the Bulls.

The list is endless starting with the two St Helens tries in the Challenege Cup Final 1996 which never should have been given as Tommy Martyn had taken Nathan Graham out with you guessed it, Cummings stood looking at it.

Then in the 1997 Challenge Cup Final you had the Sonny Nickle bounce try which again Cummings had the perfect view to see him loose the ball but no he gave a try.

I would say the main reason we find it hard to attract the best perosn to the England/GB job is the almost complete lack of international action for nearly 11 months of the year.
