He's apparently got a new offer worth more than the SLE bid from an 'anonymous' bidder according to T&A site.

And he says the RFL will be making a decision on it by this afternoon.

But I'll believe it when I see it

Well, he didn't say whether it was conditional or not either.

Wouldn't surprise me if this offer payed the outstanding debt in full, but with the condition that the club remains in SL.

This may have been why the offer was sent to the RFL, as they need to confirm the conditions (which they won't as they don't accept conditional offers!)

Looks like the bid from SLE has forced someone's hand!!

I think its a consortium of Huddersfield Giants fans. The thread on their ticket offer inspired them to rally round.

Any investment will be badly devalued in the short term if Mick P is allowed to leave he has been pivotal to the Club in keeping the Players focussed and also giving the Fans the hope that the Club will survive as a going concern in SL. Now the RFL has shown its hand as part of the SLE bid, how impartial will they be when perusing the new bid? Whoever gets to write the book will have plenty of material for a who done who didn't do it who did what to whom etc Ah I see folk saying Dallas! which has been ressurected with a new generation!
Caisley's name has now been tweeted as part of the new bid, I thought the White Horse had been locked in the stable as the Knight had bolted!

What amazes me is that another offer for the club as well as the SLE bid was presented to the RFL last Friday yet neither BG or the RFL thought to inform the media and most importantly the fans. I'm not suggesting the details can be made public as in who it is, conditions etc. but surely such an important development might have been worth mentioning.

Shouldn't think the SLE bid affects any new offer in the slightest, after all it's not as if SLE actually want to own and run the club, they just want to bring in bidders. I suspect they'd be delighted that it worked before they even had to fork out..

Have we now moved completely into the surreal? I would suggest that the RFL are clearly disqualified from ruling whether to accept or reject ANY bid, as a bidder clearly has a conflict of interest which I would say is irreconcilable. Even if RFL were to reject another bid, and then accept the SLE as new owner, on 100% genuine and kosher grounds, they still surely cannot be the body to make that decision. "You can't have it, our bid is better than yours"? How the hell can that work?

Wrong way round. The only condition that the RFL has set bidders is that if creditors are paid off in full, then the club will retain the licence.

Another anonymous offer? Suggests to me someone who was hanging around till liquidation whose hand has now been forced. Anonymous because the majority won't like who it is?

Funnily enough, I've been waiting for Cameron to put the blame on the previous government for all the gold medals in the Olympic Games - but, presumably that's one thing they're not responsible for.

Well according to the T&A there are up to 5 interested parties looking to bid for the Bulls and Tinfoil has set a deadline of noon tomorrow for them to make formal bids

With all that i've read this week it seems decisons have already been made by the RFL to boot us out of SL into CH1 next season!

Even if the club secures a buyer/new owner and pay off some of the debt thus avoiding liquidation. The penalty for going into admin is a points deduction is it not?? we've had a points deduction.

Yeh, it seems to me that through all this the RFL have had it in for you.

I don't see any reason why we should not be in SL next year. Why should we suffer any more punishment than any one else who has been in this position? It didn't happen to London or Wakefield.

Different licence period = different set of rules, when you are a championship club you would know all about this

Why? our licence runs till the end of 2013, why should we be relegated to CH1 for going into admin?
