Considering I haven't exactly hidden my criticism of the club in recent years, I think if I was Stuart, I'd have been sacked years ago! Although I confess, I never quite understand the level of abuse he seems to get from some Bulls fans. It's either from people who obviously know more about a situation than I do, or the opposite and they actually don't really know what he does but he's a recognisable figure that's an easy target. He's always been right with me to be honest.

Why do you think big Nigel has been sat at most Bulls games since 2017 at Chalmers side?
The whole situation stinks, and the way the "club" are trying to extinguish any questioning of whats going on by saying it has already lost investors for them is laughable as what hard nosed financial backer with stacks of business acumen is put off by some nasty words on Bulls Facebook forums and twitter.
Perez will be gone after XMAS and RHP will be wheeled out as the new messiah and saviour, even though he has had a hand in the last 3 failures.
The Bulls situation and its handling since admin 1 is perverse, we have been passed around from 1 crook to another like the Armley cell block bi@ch'"

'" Generally sports club owners just leave the debt there with no intent of calling it in - but when they are looking to get rid of the club they often write it off. e.g. Dave Whelan at Wigan, Paul Caddick at Leeds RU.
There's no difference in substance though - either way the person making the loan isn't going to get repaid. That's the way of the world with owning most sports clubs.

Would not use that exact phraseology TBH. We'd more refer to the statement, well at least the one in today's League Express, as being factually incorrect, and rather embarrassing and/or desperate. Moreover, his figures re cost savings per Dewsbury BB home game when compared to hosting games at Odsal are utter bunkum.
We in all honesty would have expected a lot better of Eric P; or is that now Eric Puppet?

Do you want to be our consortium campaign manager mate?
Long way to go yet, but we are getting there. We were at City Hall again today, and will be back again shortly. We were in part discussing the upcoming latest Bulls scandal.
We will also soon be meeting with other influential local politicians.

Looking at some of your recent posts mate, may we respectfully say that it's no wonder you appear to be permanently Blotto.
We also sincerely hope that you are not in any way becoming addicted to Nigel Wood's magic mushrooms. In that regard you join many BB fans who have we aver sadly been 'kept in the dark and fed on BULLS(HIT)' for many a year.

| Having re-read the predominantly utter tosh in yesterday's League Express re the Bulls we have four additional open messages to Nigel Wood (and of course his family and PA's etc), Eric Perez and Mark [i[size=85(why ever did I allow Chalmers to allegedly owe me a high five figure gambling related debt)[/size[/i Sawyer:
1) We do not for one second belief that Andrew Chalmers owed a substantial debt (if any) to BB17 - if the 5B Ltd wants to build up a modicum of trust and truly be open and transparent then prove it, inc specific evidence of how such a debt (assuming it did ever exist) accrued.
2) If the 5B's want to be even more open and transparent then post ALL fans questions and your answers on to an open public board for all fans to see.
3) To say that previous Bulls' owners were non rugby League people may be right, but let's not forget who put them in place, and deemed them to be fit and proper persons - Nigel Wood and the RFL. So are you having a laugh Eric? Do you, Nigel and Mark think us fans are gullible.
4) Last, but not least, the reference to a £30k saving for each Dewsbury based home game when compared to Odsal outgoings is disdainful spin, and you know it is Eric. One simple example of why your figures (of figures given to you by Wood and Sawyer) are wrong is as follows. There will in all likelihood be on average say up to 1000 less fans per 'home' game in 2020 when compared to last season. At an average (overpriced0 matchday gate price of say £22 (allowing for some concessions etc) then 1000 x £22 = £22K. Add on to that the shortfall in matchday income for beer and hard boiled burgers etc then your average savings will soon dwindle to zilch. So why not just tell the RFL to spend the £75K needed to re-open the doors to Odsal and=#4000BF Bring the Bulls Back to Bradford immediately; simple. Why won't Wood, Sawyer, Chalmers, and the RFL sanction that?
We challenge you to answer the above.

| Actually, this forum doesn't mean much in the whole scheme of things and shows how much of a waste of time the troll is expending when you scan through the posts - say the last 10 pages and realise there are between 30 and 40 posters.
Some are from other clubs. Some are just wind up merchants. Quite a few don't go to games. Most are genuine supporters who don't believe a word of what the troll is saying. The other thousands of supporters make their own minds up without forums.
So, how many people is he talking to? Will both hands do or do I need a few toes as well to add them up.
That is why I laugh at the thought of a highly intelligent professional being up at 1am in the morning sitting at his laptop thinking he is talking to thousands of people and making a difference - when he is just talking to a handful of people. Think about it. That is why a serious businessman would not be on here and then allow his identity to be known at a later date.

I can't answer that. I don't think anyone on the forum can answer that. Try responding to them in person, not anonymously on a forum (which in all probability isn't read by any of them anyway) and then if they do reply then, by all means, post it up here.
Doing things like this just makes you look even more tenuous and ridiculous than you already do.
Actions speak louder than words, and all any of us have seen at the moment are you peddling cobblers on a forum. You've done this and seen these people. Lets see some evidence that what you say is right.
Until you have something to say which can be backed up by fact, facts that can be shared, I would just leave it be. At the moment, even if you are what you say you are, you're making no friends here.
If in the future (by some miracle), you WERE in charge of the Bulls I fear that the things you have said on here will come back and haunt you. I'm not sure I would give my support behind a group that accuses posters of being drunk because they have a pop at your sub-x-files conspiracy b0ll0cks.
To paraphrase: You're making no friends here, and if you want my support then shut up until you can come back with some cold hard facts to back up the meetings, accusations and figures you are presenting.

Very few that I speak to want to go back to Odsal. They all think it's time has gone and a newer, smaller ground possibly sharing with P.A is what should be done.
I have been going to watch the Northern for 44 years now and don't want to go back there - but a new ground roughly in the Odsal area would be nice.

| + 1. Odsal's time is done. The only reason I can see they want to go back it the clause FA spoke about whereby if CBMDC kick the Bulls out they must provide an alternative, suitable stadium.

CBMDC don't need to 'kick the Bulls out'. They've left of their own volition so why would such a clause, if it exists, to be invoked?

| It's worrying that the talk seems to be moving more and more towards a return to Odsal.
One gets the feeling that, if 'a deal' can be done we are going to be back to Odsal in 2021 (at the latest).
Do we [ireally[/i want to go back to standing out on crumbling terraces with the rain pouring down on our heads? The ground issue is about much more than whether we can get BMDC to knock a few quid off the rates bill. The place isn't fit for purpose in this day and age.

For some reason there are parts of the stadium which, apparently, were never included in the lease but belong to Bfd Met. It is this area, which includes the lottery office and I believe the old VP's lounge/cum media area, so[i technically[/i they are renting some buildings from the council but haven't "gone back" to the leased area.

I agree that it is worrying that people can be suggesting a move back to Odsal. Having spent too many wet seasons on the terraces "enjoying" summer rugby, it will be good to watch the boys in relative comfort under a roof, especially in Jan, Feb, Mar, and April. The rent / rates at Odsal, will surely never be reduced to a level whereby a championship side can afford to play from there. And even if they were, do we really think it would be acceptable to continue to put up with the old place which is now becoming an embarrassment.
My view is that, having now left Odsal, a return there would be a retrograde step. We need a fresh start, including playing out of a new stadium. Unfortunately, I cannot see us ever being able to afford a new stadium, so the only alternative to the pile that is Odsal appears to be a permanent ground share. That won't be to everyone's liking, but at least we'll still have a team to support. Unfortunately, the problem reverts back to the question - who would we share with on a permanent basis? Difficult

| if we go back to odsal we might as well insist on going back to winter rugby too. A threat like that will do for the fan base, such as it is.
Not sure if anybody has mentioned it but there will be a series of leases and sub leases, what title/lease BMDC and the RFL have I cannot remember, but one thing is clear: The Bulls do not, so how this land grab affects the bulls is a mystery to me.
either Chalmers or his backer(s) put £1.2m into the club over the two years published accounts. so it follows that it is Chalmers or his backers that have written off all or most or part of that. And if the backer was Wood, then he is a serious masochist or has soooo deep pockets to be back around for more.
final observation/comment/request:
can someone put a poll type topic up please? the question being along the lines of "Whose answers to our questions are the most transparent? the two answer options being 1) BBBBB and 2) Nestegg

| Welp, I've just got my response back from 'Ask the Bulls' despite not being a 2020 season ticket holder. They have gone a way to answer my questions, and the one "Why should we trust you?" was answered as succinctly as it could be:
[iQuite simply they are people who care about the club and have committed to get involved and pledge personal resources to assist the club. They, like yourself, have spent many years on the terraces and in the stands at Odsal and simply want to see the club perform properly. The most significant fact is that there is a lot of rugby league experience and knowledge at the club and the hope is that the boom/bust cycle is consigned to the past.
We can understand your scepticism, and the only reassurance we can offer is that the new owners are not people who have previously been involved. There is no shortcut or alternative other than to ask that our performance is actually judged, not those of previous regimes. [/i
While I haven't got a whole lot of faith in anyone involved in the Bulls at the moment, this seems to be a positive start. And (let's face it) getting any response at all is a plus!
It hasn't sold me a season ticket though. Actions, not words, are needed.
