For a bit of light relief this is an interesting documentary about Australian hotel and casino group Crown Resorts. Who’s major shareholder is James Packer - Rusty Crowe’s partner at Souths.
He incidentally wrote off a huge debt incurred by the club a few years ago.

| Is it just me who think that leaving it until Sunday to make some sort of statement is leaving it far too long.
There is alot of unrest now among supports our leader needs to step up and lead from the front immediately.
Could you imagine Lenaghan or McManus letting this drag for another 5 days?
Over to you Mr Chalmers ......

| In isolation none of the recent rumours are too much to worry about. However, put together and with our recent history I need to know something now.
I appreciate we aren’t going to get told everything and I don’t expect to. It’s not my business - but after the last 3 administrations I aren’t renewing without being reassured I won’t be going through the same rigmarole as last time to get my money back.
I can’t afford it for one thing and the wife isn’t going to let me waste money we could use elsewhere on something that’s supposed to be a leisure past time. It’s so depressing as I thought we were getting somewhere.

| It seems he only does a column for matchdays. Hence him not doing once last week and I can't wait for this weeks appraisal of the RL media....
The way I am seeing it, until I am told otherwise by someone actually in the know and prepared to put their name to it is someone is worried that the CBMDC/RFL/Bulls talks maybe fruitful (shows just what a numpty that person is) so they are leaking stuff we'd not normally find out about to fame hungry twitter-rats - who get a stalk on thinking they have a scoop - in the hope that the storm they create disrupts any weird and wonderful plans that may be being proposed whereby the RFL don't get back the £1.25m they paid for the lease because they *themselves* devalued it.
There's more than one club financially juggling all the time but only one is being outed. No questioning of the release of QLT from Fax for example, or any financial issues that may be underlying. Nothing to see there, move along.

| While it’s annoying that CCJs issued to the Bulls might get bigger coverage that CCJs issued to other clubs in the past this wouldn’t be a problem if we paid our bills like a self respecting business should.
As has already been said if the players and staff all get paid and the CCJs get paid off then I’ll rest easier. If they don’t I shan’t be donning the tin hat because after the last time we went through this I chucked it away. I think another bout of missed wages, transfer embargoes, winding up petitions etc would be too much for me and quite a few others.
As for Chalmers I’ve seen the rumours of him addressing fans on Sunday. I’ve seen nothing official so doubt this is going to happen. In previous fiascos he tends to go to ground and this looks no different.

| Agreed Bullseye. Another set of off field problems. And I'll be done and most likely the majority of fans will be. While some may cheer if the Bulls go bust, the sport will be poorer for losing it. Look at all the juniors we produce and how many clubs actually have a possibility of getting 10k+ plus crowds.
Can anyone confirm if players have been paid today

| So - for the third time in a row the RFL have passed as fit - an owner for this club - who - for the third time is not up to the job.
For the third time - there remains three names still taking a wage - who were part of the "management" of the previous failed ownerships.
For the third time - there are ominous and all too familiar signs of another failed RFL approved owner.
If this pans out as per the previous ownerships we will be deducted ?? points this time and highly likely be back in league 1.
Players will leave the club.
There are many loyal and die hard supporters who are saying if we go under again - they are done - cannot take anymore.
The club will not survive another admin - so right now - we are in last chance saloon.
My own hope is Andrew Chalmers sells to club on and avoids admin - if there is an interested buyer of course.

| This issue needs clearing up by Chalmers. Are we back in the sh*t or not?Terrible management has already cost the club/fans a team full of World Class/Super League players with such as Trueman going for nothing because of the last shambles. If it's correct that we had to sell Wilson to pay a bill then you can quite easily believe that we are back in the mire.Scandalous treatment of the club and it's supporters if true. Some clarity please Mr Chalmers.

I am sure if he had their money it wouldn't drag on. Similarly if he didn't have the Odsal millstone around his neck.

| I think everyone's been realistic.
Odsal in it's current guise will not see Super League again.
I am bothered that the twitter-rats have sent everyone into a downer on here to the point of 'we're going into administration'.
I reckon we'll get our answer on Sunday. If we capitulate Widnes style we'll know there's trouble. If we compete and go hell for leather we know the players have nothing playing on there minds.
But for now we've not had the obligatory WUP and notice in the gazette yet, Beattie's been given a new role (what would be the point if he know we're going down), the players aren't revolting on twitter and indeed seem happy and though it's early in the day no-one's mentioned players not being paid yet. *checks twitter again* so I am going to be heading to the weekend in blissful ignorance.

Sorry to spoil your ignorance - but the players have not been paid yet and neither have some bills for medical treatment to injuries.
The silence between today and Sunday is not a good move.
And as per under Marc Green - the staff and players are in the dark too.
Hardly motivation to play with commitment on Sunday is it?

| I have had enough of this mess. It's a total joke and i won't be attending Sundays game until some form of statement is made.
Bulls obviously have money problems as why won't they pay players at the start of the day.
I was told 2 months ago they had money problems and choose not to believe it. My source at the time was obviously correct.

| Can someone post a link to where it has been announced that there will be an announcement at Sunday’s match?
This appears to be just a rumour from what I can see.
Frankly I’m sick of this sort of thing and if matters aren’t resolved before Sunday I won’t be attending either. Since I’ve already paid for a season ticket this is a bit like cutting my nose off to spite my face but I’ve no wish to go through all the worry of the previous THREE occasions this has happened again. If a fourth time happens that is really it for me.

This.
I have a very long tether, but the last time, I finally reached the end of it. The thing is, emotionally I am not willing to go through the wringer another time, I really don't need it, and so that would be it for me too.
The loss on the accounts is not great news though accounts are a funny thing, and always well out of date, so in itself, not that bothered.
But RFL having to pay other clubs on our behalf for gate money because we won't sounds ominous. Clearly we don't want to fall out with other clubs, clearly everyone knows the pretty simple rules on gate sharing, and so the fact that despite this, seemingly a couple of them were reduced to having to shop s to the RFL, who in turn put us on sanctions and veto new signings, isn't something that happened by accident.
I look at the CCJs in the light of the above. No, you can't get a CCJ registered against you by bad administration. If you defend and lose a case, (and there are no reports that we did) then as long as you pay the judgment within the time allowed it does not get registered as un UNPAID CCJ and those are what you need to avoid at all costs. If you lose a case, but then pay up, then it is never an unpaid CCJ and is, if anything, a positive credit matter as you paid up what you were found to owe.
Sounds much more like no defences filed to simple money claims, and after the 14/28 days, default judgment entered. Given the very adverse consequences of having unpaid CCJs recorded against a business, not paying them seems grim. Even if they pay them late. The question is self-answering, in view of the publicity and the credit rating, if you could pay to avoid that, you surely would.
Then there is the persistent rumouring that we are struggling to pay the players' wages "as normal". that one won't go away, when Chisholm made his claims, he never named a club, but equally no other club was put in the frame, and our problem is our track record of such things.
And then we have the stuff about likely not playing at Odsal next year (but why not? We won't be in SL and the ground is at least as fit for Championship as several others, so what would be the reason?)
Putting the jigsaw pieces together, it looks suspiciously like the RFL withholding part money to pay others what we should have paid has caused a hole in cashflow. But the worrying thing to me, whatever the truth about the rest of it, is that we put ourselves in that position in the first place.
I weakened last winter and paid full whack for a top dollar season ticket. While I have enjoyed much of the season hugely (and what a contrast that has been) I won't be buying again whatever anyone says unless the air is somehow completely cleared to my personal satisfaction, but I can't see that happening.
I sit in an acre of empty top dollar seats, and I'm not surprised. First, we got very little extra for the top money.
Second, anyone is allowed to sit in the top seats without any sort of check (so you could buy the cheapest stand ticket, and sit in the empty top dollar section). I actually prefer people within at least coo-ee, but that's not the point, what is my incentive to pay much more than them?
Third, without any word of apology, we no longer have the Premier Club bar; that is, we do, but all the interior doors are open, there is no check at the door any more and what would be the point as anyone is free to go in, and often all but 1 of the bar staff are serving in the main bar anyway.
So it just represents very, very bad value to me, but the financial spectres looming under the clouds on the horizon is the main reason. And I reckon that the sort of rumours being discussed here will badly affect season ticket sales, even if they are all 100% false, it couldn't have come at a worse time, how does Chalmers sell those tickets now? And if we can't sell enough STs, and with the dwindling walk-up, I for one do fear that we may have more pain.
Maybe I could coin a word to express the whole sorry state.
Maybe Bullxxit?

Very interesting and light shedding post here FA.
Because what you describe above is an indication of organisational incompletence at such a basic level it only makes you wonder how bad it must be as you get into other more important aspects of running the club.
I had no idea it was that bad in there. As a loyal customer you have paid for additional add ons that are now an open house.
Chuffin hell - where is their appreciation of your custom?
I think the majority of us in here are the last of the die hards, who have endured much and under this owner, remain largely unrecognised.
Sadly we appear to be all saying the same thing - if we go under - thats it this time. I also think this way.
Finally - I have to say that the same "management team" responsible for running the club has remained in place for the last three admins and I strongly suspect the same "management team" are responsible for the debacle in the top dollar ticket area you refer to FA.
Hence, what you say above makes it unsurprising we are in a mess yet again. More rain clouds.
PS Have you raised the issues regarding the lack of seat checks and the loss of the bar with the management?
