I'm only going on what the Guardian says and it says Potter has turned it down with McDermott expected to be confirmed as new coach Wednesday.

If it's true it's McDermott I won't be going again that's for sure. Terrible appointment! In fact if it's true it will be the death of the club and I'll be furious.

Who would you like as a coach given the evident restrictions and what do you want from a coach given the playing roster they will have?

He's Leeds Rhinos through and through. Everytime we used to play Leeds he'd try and injure Stuart Fielden. Potter's coached at the highest level I don't remember McDermott working as a Supre League head coach.

I also find his comedy sketches with Terry O'Connor on Sky pretty childish. I don't mind his Championship commentary though.
