I'd hope that the staff and suppliers are paid what's owed them. I'm hoping that's the case and they've been tipped the wink given that they're all back "voluntarily".

But there doesn't [ihave[/i to be " a situation", nor does there have to be any "justification"; simply not being in the top 14 applicants for the 2015 season is sufficient reason not to be included in SL. It's down to which 14 clubs the RFL believes are likely to bring more to the table than the others. Simple as.

That clearly includes the possibility that one (or more) clubs which have met all the basic conditions might not get in. There is no 'reason', to be given; they just weren't in the RFL's 'best' 14.

Thanks for clearing that up, looks like balls in the RFL's court then as I would be very suprised if the other clubs vote to oust you.

The RFL have already said they will not accept conditional bids - this is a conditional bid. Not sure that we have much progress

The consortium holds all the cards here!

The RFL will lose out when the ground is sold back at a much reduced price, which means in turn we as supporters lose out as that is effectively our money!

The consortium can hold the RFL to ransom, and this is exactly what they will do, they would be stupid not too.

The RFL (Richard Lewis) has a lot to answer for, the RFL should have never have got involved.

I only hope when the next SL club goes to the wall the RFL are there with a pot of money for them!

what is your source for that? the TnA article clearly states "£3m offer to buy the Bradford Bulls", not "£3m business plan for assets and losses for next few years". I would guess that the lease buy back is included in that at whatever value.

but its what they see as the scope for increased revenue that I find interesting. all that car parking space would cater for much more than the coral stand, 7 days a week.

My suspicion is that, at a base level, the RFL would hate to see us go to the wall, for all the obvious reasons, so whether it's a red line that slowly becomes a negotiating position depends on how much they'd like to keep us in, [iand[/i how much ABC want the club. Who blinks first for ABC and RFL and squeaky bum time for us.

So reading between the lines they have made an offer that covers the projected losses. No mention of any bid for the Odsal lease.

So the offer is to cover the losses for the next 3 years, no payment for creditors and the RFL hand odsal back to them for free?

Why would they pay the administrator, who is then going to pay the creditors etc out of the money , £3m to cover future losses, as those future losses will need to be covered by them not the administrator? add the money for the lease, would you buy a business for £3-4M that is also going to lose £3M making your total investment £6-7M?

If they are indeed paying that amount, then its back to the most interesting point, where is the increased income going to come from to make that size of investment worthwhile?

I thank you for your powerful and incisive insight into the Bulls predicament. Do you seriously think there is anyone on here who doesn't know that already? If you'd read the odd thread, before diving in with that earth shattering info, you could have saved your time and our annoyance.

Reading the articles, it doesn't appear that there has been any direct communication betwen ABC and the RFL. All the quotes attributed to the RFL seem to be suggesting that they're only getting their information from Gilfoyle. If that's true they need to get the 3 parties in a room together.

It's heading for liquidation IMO.

Me too, 36 years supporting the club and all of the lies and decipt first from Casiley and his cronies and now from Guilfoyle leave me feeling like I don't give a anymore.

If only everyone else at the club was as honest as the fans maybe we wouldn't be in this mess.
