Could we hit 3k with one last push?

Well the quote from the T&A is that if sales continue as they are doing that we're on target to hit the 4k figure the club wanted. I'd imagine there'll be a big up take around the end of Jan when people have been paid, I know that'll be when I'm buying my ticket and I've a few friends who are doing likewise.

Plus, I'd imagine we've sold more than 2500 as people have said about previous milestone stories, but this is a milestone along with a feel good story about the person who got the ticket.

More good news and a really nice positive story of the club going that extra mile.

I'll think we'll get around 3300 which is a fantastic achievement considering the price increase and the fact we've been relegated.

As roofaldo said, they should be a surge around end of January when people get paid. A lot have waited until after Christmas!

It's not disimilar to "the pledge" where they drip fed news of the total increasing. I'm sure we're always at a higher figure than the articles state. We perhaps won't hit the 4k target but 3k is surely going to be surpassed.

There's those of in the "I'll get one, I'll get one, I'll get one, ah bugger, the season's started. Screw it." brigade. Our numbers are growing.

As long as they turn up fairly regularly it'll be ok. Given the higher prices, I suspect a few who got a season ticket before may well feel it'll be cheaper to just pay when they go.

You get tickets, including season tickets through club shop part of website now. Look under events.

Bought ours from the website last week with no issues....

Just had a look and memberships seem to have disappeared from club shop. Certain they were their when I bought Hudds tickets.

I can't find them either. Very strange?!

Story in today's T&A says were around the 2700 mark but that the club are confident of a number of tickets will be sold over the next week as it's the month end and people will be getting paid

See usual clowns spouting off on t@a comments telling green to walk away as we're going to be losing money every week. Doesn't grasp that 4k season ticket target was to break even for the entire year. If we get 4k all bills are covered for season and any walk up support/away fans are basically profit. All not reaching 4k pre sales means is that the money isn't coming in up front. I said a while back, and still expect, season ticket sales to end up somewhere around 3k mark. So we need our average attendance for year to be 4k or more, meaning we need to average 1k of walkup/away support. Can't see that being a problem. Think our average for year will be 5k+ comfortably.

I've still yet to get mine, roll on payday tomorrow.

Some fag packet accountancy - probably cost £2m to run the club this season, 3000 tickets across all options average £170 plus vat = £510k + RFL funding £750k, 15 games at £20k +vat walk up = £300k leaving £440k from sponsorship, merchandising profits etc to fill the gap, shortfalls will not be huge

I think you're right about the £2m figure for the year. Pretty certain Marc Green said that was how much it would cost to run the club for the year. I think your figures on the total from season tickets is probably on the low size too, given the cost of a ground entry ticket is £230.

If you're buying a season ticket online, you can pick your spot. Now, I've added up the totals of available seats according to this map, and it shows there's 22537 places free. Given Odsal has an offical capacity of 27491 that suggests that we've not only broken the 4k target but are in fact closer to 5k tickets sold.

I could be wrong of course.

You need to remove the vat - do you pay that these days - and factor in concessions etc

There is no way we would have sold close to 5k season tickets without them mentioning it


I reckon we'll probably end up in the low 3k's.
