| I hope this tweet means hes coming to Bradford I rate foster a lot better than what we had on the wing last year and did a solid job at Hull while on loan. I would prefer it to be permanent deal rather than loan.

| As a Saints fan: I'm pleased that Foster has his future sorted, and if it is to you at the Bulls, then I wish him well. Fans didn't seem to take to him in 2012, especially as 'other things' seemed to be more important than RL, but he seems to have had a reality check after being dropped from the first team and he certainly has the makings to be a decent SL winger.
Don't expect him to come and solve all your problems though; what is for sure is that he'll finish well and kick all your goals.
Quote ="Wheels"Its a fake account.'"
You say that, but why are Matty Smith, Adam Swift, Josh Jones and Jordan Turner following it? I'm not saying that it isn't fake, but it does make you wonder...

| If Foster does sign a permanent deal with us it's a bit of a coup. His best days are ahead of him. As tigertot tipped a while ago I think in years to come he could become a decent centre. At the moment he's got really good hands, is a super goalkicker and is starting to fill out more physically. Sure, he's got some flaws but most wingers do apart from the really top ones who we aren't going to sign anyway.
Cummins knows a bit about wing play too.

Spot on.
Would be an excellent signing for us. Would be very pleased indeed.

| Just a thought, accepting it looks like any Foster deal would be permanent,- is there a limit to the number loan players a club can have at any one time?

Maximum of 4 in total, with a maximum of 3 from any single club.
So I guess we were always going to have to make some permanent signings to fill out a competitive 25 man squad, and Foster would be a good one to choose, world class goalkicker, good finisher, room for improvement. I would be very happy with this signing if it comes off.

| Given that the nailed-on 100% fake Lee Gaskell twitter account said Foster has signed for us, I'm thinking he's signed for Hull.

If the real Lee Gaskell said "looks like I be doing kicking next season until brown get sack and rushes me off again" then he'd be facing a disciplinary.

I was just saying that some Saints players follow that account: why would they follow an account that was a fake? Unless of course it is an inside joke similar to the Royce Simmons one? But then again if it was an inside joke I doubt they'd go as far as to post that! Luckily the account only has 50+ followers.
Anyway, sorry to change topic....

| I'm very pleased with this signing. As others have said, he can certainly finish a try. I think he'd go well on Lulia's wing. He may end up being first choice goal kicker, although I do rate Luke Gale, a bit of competition can only be a good thing. He's a young lad with plenty of improvement in him which hopefully FC can really help him with.
Finally, and I know it's hardly number one priority when looking at new signings, but he's VERY marketable. That can't possibly be a bad thing!

| I hope we have signed him, before he went out of favour at Saints he was the best thing since sliced bread. I think he is a confidence player, if its up he`s good if its down he struggles. Just wonder after doin so well at Hull if they regret commiting to Crookes and not taking Foster. On top form he is streets ahead of Crookes IMHO.

| Don't see what foster has that Ainscough didn't. Both decent finishers, both sane speed although I think Ainscough edges it on pace. Neither great in defence or under the high ball. But Ainscough works a lot harder I feel than Foster. Son't be expecting Foster to chase down runners.
However Foster will do a job for us.

| It looks strongly likely that we have signed Foster.
Think he and Lulia could form a good partnership in 2013.

| Young winger with SL experience, looking to kick on with his career would seem to fit the bill for us right now. Given where we are at I think he will do a good for us, especially outside a dependable centre like Lulia.

To be honest he was pretty average, kicking was exceptional, but is too weak to make a decent winger, makes hardly any yards, not that fast and defence was suspect in a few games. All of his trys at Hull where walk in's.
I not sure that Crookes is any better as I haven't seen him enough to judge him, but I don't expect Crookes to be a our starting winger next season with Briscoe one one wing and young Lineham on the other.
Would expect Crookes would be on less money than Foster also.
