Dude, what I mean is not guys being signed to scholarships,, or the guys already in our squads, but like last year when we announced Naughton, Conroy etc etc. Like 16 year olds, that are being signed to play academy. I know we havent announced any yet, but I was wanting to know if other teams had announced the influx of new juniors.

They were already part of the scholarship system. All it was, was announcing their step up from U16's to U18's mate. Naughton, Conroy etc had been in that team since U15's.

And yeah Ritz he is. He was when he played us a Cougar Park about a year ago. I personally don't rate him at all but obviously some people do :/

Now its just a 19s comp clubs cant afford to have them signed up and not playing really

To be honest, I'd think that with us pretty clearly going to struggle to get much depth in our squad, we might actually be an attraction to any good young players who fancy a quicker breakthrough. Given the usual injuries over a season the chances to impress are always likely to come fairly often. Probably no help to the 16 year olds, but those around the 18 mark might fancy a bit of that.

Need to sign Jordan Gale, cousin of Luke Gale, released by Leeds under 16 scholarship, half back and kicks goals for fun !!

So far Wigan, Saints, Cas & Leeds have and Huddersfield have announced the signings of Jared Simpson & Kruise Leeming.
Warrington have signed Toby King from Huddersfield who is highly rated.

I've worked with him a little recently and been impressed. His decision making is very good, he thinks quickly and takes instructions and information on like a sponge!

Should be a lot of young players around without clubs at the moment with all the changes going on. Hopefully we can pick up a few bargains.

Elliott Morris and George Croisdale are my cousins best mates in school. Quality , my cousin is closer to Croisy than Morris though. And they all attend St John Fisher. Gotta admit I have heard of Kruise Leeming before but don't know what he is like or his style of play :/

there are a few good players knocking around the bulls should snap up jordan gale who i have all ready mentioned joe hudson shaun allen to name just a few. all 3 are in the yorkshire 17s squad .all this talk off just been one academy side {under 19s } clubs are not signing as many players

Have Medders and the rest of the junior/academy coaching staff been re-employed as yet - I've heard nothing about it. People are talking about bringing youngsters in but having a good coaching set up would be a big part of the attraction to a player.

Would those lads, that are under 17 be eligible to play Under 19's? With it being two years above their own age group? It would be mad if they can't, as you can play in Super League at 16, but I know that there used to be a rule that juniors could only play one year above themselves.

I'd agree on all of those players though, particularly Joe Hudson He is some player. His attitude is one of the best I've seen.

Kruise is a standoff who dictates everything, he bosses the team around the park, has a great handoff, sidestep and a good kicking game, also can kick goals for fun.

I would say hes the best junior ive ever reffed and one of the players who will deffo make it without a doubt.

Dunno, maybe but havent done any junior games this year as we have some good young refs coming thru who i prefer to let have these games as they cant do adults yet also last 3 times that i have been over to utley my game has been cancelled and they havent phoned me to tell me..in fact last year they didnt even tell normanton who was stood their with me waiting.

Might do tho once it gets colder as some of the others have winter breaks(pansies).
