There are options in the current squad granted, but I think it's fair to say most on here agree we need another recognised halfback - and not someone who can "fill in".

We need someone who can help to move us around the park if Orford is out. Kearney and Sykes don't appear capable of doing so for a prolonged period.

Good news this, I don't know the player, but another outside back to add options has to be an improvement, I'll trust Potters judgement on this one till proved otherwise. I'd also agree that its looking unlikey Sheriffe and Reardon will be retained, maybe one of them depending on how other transfer targets progress (or not).

Two simple words, I wouldnt have thought it stood for well endowed in your case, so you can cross that off your list though.

It's an interesting one, because if, as we presumed, Menzies isn't being offered a one year extension to make way for an established player on a 2-3 year contract, the signing of a relative unknown on a one year contract seems odd, if it's to take up the quota spot. I think Menzies for another year would have been the more obvious and safer route, given he's still a stand out and consistent performer in the second row or the centres. So either he's somehow not on the quota or Potter really thinks he's the business and the 1 year contract is just to cover us against another Tupou situation.
