O'Donnel was guilty, but he wasn't the only one by a long shot and Elima in the tackle looked like a cheap shot to me on first viewing, could be wrong with a replay but that was my view at the time.

On the game, best team and best player on the pitch won fair and square. Our lads put in a great effort and should be proud, but shudds are well drilled with people in the right place to make the right calls. They'll know they had to work hard for the two points today.

Today Brough showed what a specialist No 7 is about. We have one but he has been injured for 8 weeks. His deputy is now out for 12 weeks.Last season we had no specialist 7; the season before that we had one for a couple of months. No wonder we have struggled to move around the field. Best team won today but we had great committment again and surely things must improve as injuries subside.

Funny really, especially when he was brought on to replace Addy at 6. What else was he going to play like?

re: Pryce. He saved two at least two certain tries today. He creamed somebody (Brown? I couldn't tell) and later in the second half he got a touch to a pass heading for the two man overlap outside him. I was nervous when I realised he was playing FB but he done good.

Some poor decision making from us today. There was a spell of many consecutive sets in the quagmire at the Coral end and when they finally cleared it and forced a knock on they spun it out on the second tackle and put the ball into touch. By the end of the next set they were back in the quicksand. Dumb. Too many last tackle screw ups too.

It's this sort of (constant) ribbing that winds up giants fans and leads to them being accused of Being poor winners. If its not lack of trophies it's support base. I hope for your sake you don't have to suffer what giants fans have but given your current financial situation don't be surprised if you have a few lean years in terms of silverware (how long has it been?) and supporters -I already know of one or two bulls fans who have gone back to their hometown club swapping a bulls for a giants season ticket. Also don't be surprised when it happens if the same people you are having a go at now have a big long laugh at your expense. I suspect your begging bowls weren't particularly well filled today -perhaps the treatment by your fans for the last several years will explain why.

For what it's worth I think it would be brilliant if Huddersfield won the league. Warrington won the cup recently but as far as I'm concerned they've won nothing too. The league is where it's at and frankly whilst I wanted Warrington to be the new name on the trophy they don't like it up 'em and they'll fold like tissue paper in the play offs. Huddersfield look the business to me.
