I got exactly the same response when i said george burgess was going to souths, because i was a new-be/little post history i was talking utter rubbish (well clearly i wasn't, but you get my drift .)

After reading this thread this morning (and before Connor and Duffy were tweeting about it), like Adey, I'd been emailing/texting a few of my sources, 2 came back with it's a load of tosh and the third didn't respond yet.

Mick Potter on Radio Leeds said he came through training today and was a possibility for Sunday!

I got a load of tosh from the one source I asked. As I said in an earlier post until the club or the player come back with something concrete either way! Which they now have I'll take it with a pinch of salt.

But this was confirmed?

As for the OP??? Yes some people do not always get it right but some people may have to accept that there are a lot of people who read RL Fans but have never posted. Hearing what they may consider is a scoop may be the catalyst for them to make their first post as it seems as good a time as any.

Think chip is a bit extreme but pls accept an olive branch in your direction? What you say about about first time posters is correct and they should be incouraged but if such a poster comes by some info maybe its worth questioning the source and how good it is before posting.
