Exactly what Kear says, it were a good game from 2 teams who are down to the bare bones who put on a good game for the fans.

Sounds like an even contest on the radio with both sides making a lot of basic errors and a few decisions were a bit dodgy.

Overall not disappointed with the result as I expected a loss with our injuries but once again it shows what only having one proper half (in this game an injured half) does.

Keyes back next week along with Lilley. Revert Brown back to wing and we’ll look good. So should string together a few wins now and hopefully get Brough back for the back end of the year too. Hopefully come playoffs we’ll line up like this:

Assuming we make the play offs, I’d be surprised if Keyes is still with us by then.

In all honesty HKR won’t recall Keyes unless they have an injury crisis so given his current deal will take him to mid August at least when season has about a month left, apart from play offs I see no reason why Keyes can’t stay

With Widnes & Newcastle both losing, the play-offs are looking pretty close to being secured. We have to manage the squad so that we're fit and ready for them. Important game next week just to nip this mini losing run in the bud as don't want to be stuttering into them either.

To be fair I don't think we will meet again this season. I don't see Bradford finishing 6th and we should be able to get 3rd now. Playoffs as they stand at the moment if thats how we finished we would miss each other in the first round then the winners play Fev and Toulouse. To be fair though I think we will have a few more players in for the playoffs and Im sure both teams would line up a lot different to yesterday.

I don't mind celebrating the forward pass because as they say things even themselves up by the end of the season and we all know Fax were robbed in the first game.

Atleast they will have 2 weeks before there next game so might have some players back to play including keyes

Going purely off the highlights, I think Kear might be bitterly disappointed we lost that one. A try conceded from a Lilley dropped pass, an interception, one from what looked very much like a Halifax knock on and a forward pass.

Fair play to Halifax they got the rub of the green and the points (or not) are in the bag.

Just watched the highlights. From the angle and distance in the ground, I couldn’t see the forward pass. Having watched it back, I have no idea how 3 officials have failed to spot that. Absolutely unbelievable, if I was that bad at my job I would be sacked.

Just as bad call made in the SL game last night. No wonder the game is dying.

Can’t attract new supporters and judging by the activity on these forums, the game is rapidly losing existing ones. With games as poor as yesterday and officiating even worse than the standard of rugby, even more will be put off.

Liam Harris try, looks to be knocked forwards by Saltonstall and then kicked forwards by another Halifax player. Hard to be sure from the angle but there is definitely some doubt about it in my opinion .

The try in the last minute is just farcical though it's that far forward. Think it plainly comes down that the TJ bottled it and daren't disallow the try.

So id imagine there is serious doubt over next weeks game at the minute.
Obviously all depends on how many will still be in isolation.

I don’t think the Sheffield game will happen because of the COVID situation, I would image our next game will be Newcastle away, in a way it gives the bulls a extra week to have players ready and fit

I think he means the knock down from Salty. Given how far behind Salty Barber were before Barber kicks it I don't think theres much doubt he knocked it back.

Sometimes feels like these players do all the hard work and then seem to be masters at gifting soft points to the opposition. I know Kear talked about it being play off intensity but we will have to tighten up these errors if we intend at giving the likes of Toulouse or Fev a real test.
